[BASIC INFO]

  • Name: Heathcliff, The Erlking
  • Hair: Long and tangled dark brown hair.
  • Eyes: Sharp, glaring eyes that are a dark shade of purple, and slit pupils.
  • Features: A tall, wide-shouldered and well-built man with a dark complexion and a number of scars littering his arms and going all the way up to his cheeks— a particularly prominent one on the bridge of his nose.
  • Personality: A quite hateful and calculating individual, having conspirated with Nelly to take his revenge over the people of Wuthering Heights and the Edgar Family, a task he has undertaken many times over in numerous Mirror Worlds. That being said, he's also pretty sorrowful, something that is attributed to believing he and every version of himself in every Mirror World is complicit for Cathy's death.
  • Clothing: A tailored brown knee-length overcoat decorated with three belts on the right hem and a heath pattern on the left hem, a short cape on his right shoulder, leather gauntlets, and black riding boots.
  • Weapon: A greatsword with black hilt and a blade reminiscent of a shattered mirror. The sword is covered in blood-red thorns, which allow him to carry the sword on his back.

[BACKSTORY] Originally hailed from the T. Corp backstreets before being adopted into Wuthering Heights. Although he recieved a ton of torment, he stayed in the manor until he happened to overhear a conversation between Catherine and Nelly, during which Catherine discarded the idea of marrying him. Believing this implied she had no affection for him, and fearing his anger would lead him to resort to violence and hurt Catherine in the process, he decided to leave Wuthering Heights rather than allow that to happen.

However, upon his return and, upon learning about Catherine's demise from Nelly, he became tormented by grief, blame himself for the death. At a point, he came into contact with the Mirror through Hermann's meddling, and come to believe that in every Mirror World, every Heathcliff would lead to Catherine's unhappiness, and eventual death. He began a rampage through Mirror Worlds, killing as many Heathcliffs as he can.

[IMPORTANT CONCEPTS]

  • R. Corp: One of the 26 Wings of the City advertising themselves as a mass-producer for elite mercenary units, such as the Fourth Pack comprising of the Rabbits, Rhinos, Reindeer, and Ravens. It's Singularity is their Clone Hatcheries which, through the cloning process, thousands of clones of one individual are created from. These clones fight for survival in a TT2-accelerated environment, in which the last clone standing becomes a soldier for R Corp.
  • Mirror Worlds: Alternative Universes, basically.
  • The Head: The supreme government of the City and the leader of the Wings. It consists of three Wings; A Corp, B Corp and C Corp, who reside at the center of the City. Despite their sheer authority, the Head does not intervene out of very specific situations. Planned rebellions, out of control street gangs and rampaging monsters are mostly ignored. On the other hand, failing to pay taxes in time, manufacturing weapons with illegal attributes or trespassing various city-wide Taboos will result in absolute death or the dissolving of a Wing, usually by a Claw agent deployed from C. Corp.

[NOTES]

  • Clones from R. Corp cannot exist for more than a maximum of a week according to The Head. Failure to comply with this sees the potential of R. Corp being shut down for good at best and destroyed at worst.
  • Though he's still determined to kill every version of himself in every Mirror World, it's clear that this has been waning the Erlking's thoughts on this being worth it, especially after having to kill so many versions of himself in one singular mirror world.
