Max[2] (sometimes referred to as Albert or John) is the main protagonist of the Max Design Pro YouTube channel series.[3] He is often seen with his companion Nugget, who is his good friend, and his brother & deuteragonist Jimmy. He has a sister named Hope and a best friend named Angus (brother and middle child in another short). Max is an anthropomorphic monkey with brown fur and a reddish-pink nose. For his signature clothes, he wears a red turtleneck sweater sided with blue pants and dark blue shoes.

Personality and skills Max's personality defines him as being a playful, curiosity, cheerful, and friendly but is a troublemaker and dishonest in some times Max is completely unkillable and cannot die by any means Max has shown in a short to be able to break the Earth in half while trying to cut a steak with a knife. In some shorts, when Max has a problem, he starts looking at the viewer with a scared face and asks for help by clicking the like button (usually accompanied by the Help Trigger). Nugget

Nugget is Max's best friend.

He is a graduate, meaning he is likely an adult.[4] Max has multiple different jobs, ranging from a Police Officer to a Paramedic. He also has a doppelganger/alter ego named Evil Max, which Max can transform into when he asks for help. He is able to make alarm noises with his mouth.[5] He also has another alter ego named Buff Max. This alter ego is good and actually helps. Max's favorite dessert is chocolate cake. Max enjoys listening to Green Day's music.
