Valeria

The evening promised to be unforgettable. I stood at the mirror and looked at myself in a new evening dress that my friend Valeria had sent me. It hugged her figure, emphasizing all the advantages. I smiled at my reflection, imagining how Valya and I would spin in a dance. When I arrived at the club, the music was already beating to the beat of my heart. Valeria greeted me with a smile on her face and a sparkle in her eyes. We hugged and started dancing, and soon we forgot about time and those around us. But with every cocktail we ordered, reality seemed to blur. I felt the lightness of alcohol envelop me, and dancing began to seem even more magical. We changed our movements as if we were in some kind of crazy dance competition, and laughed when one of us couldn't keep our balance. Then, at some point, I felt like I needed to take a break. I left Valeria dancing and headed for the bar. Sitting on a high stool, I ordered another cocktail and allowed myself to relax. The music was blaring, and people were scurrying around me, but I was losing track of time. I hadn't noticed how minutes, maybe hours, had passed. I didn't realize how much I'd drunk or what I looked like. Clouds were floating in my head, and lights were dancing in my eyes. Suddenly Valeria appeared in my line of sight. She pushed her way through the crowd, her face slightly worried. "Where have you been?" - she asked, trying to suppress a smile. I laughed, but it was more of a nervous laugh. Valeria hugged me and, seeing how I was holding onto the bar, grabbed my elbow. "Come on, I won't leave you alone."
