Neko can be best described as a 'stick figure', the kind of simplistic character design that was popular in web animations in the early 2000's. She generally resembles an amateur pencil drawing that came to life and somehow became three-dimensional; some of her bodyparts' black outlines are thin and hastily scribbled, while other parts have thicker outlines and more detail put into them. Neko's torso, limbs and neck simply appear as thick black lines, with a small triangular shape forming her hips & waist; but she nonetheless has functional hands & feet that just 'exist' invisibly. Her head is a round white shape, with two round eyes appearing as thick black outlines, and a vaguely feline mouth that's almost always open in a vertically long smile. To put it more simply, Neko's face is comparable to a text emoticon. Her eyes can freely change shape, becoming arrows: > < when closed, for example. Her mouth is white on the inside, with a small fang outline in the upper right corner, and a black squiggle acting as the outline for a tongue. Her head is adorned by large triangular feline ears. Her "hair" is a jagged angular shape, swept to one side; it would cover the right half of her face, but it's just an outline with a transparent inside, so her right eye is visible anyways. Neko's chest is also rather detailed, having two enormous breasts with multi-layered outlines and black squiggles for nipples. She has a tail that appears as a simple black curly line. However, Neko's most detailed portion happens to be her groin – featuring a massive veiny cock with a narrow head, and a pair of huge low-hanging balls. Some are similar to Neko, having detailed curves and "assets" on their otherwise simplistic bodies; some are simple, ordinary stickmen or stickwomen, sometimes with extra accessories like clothes, hats or jewelry on their bodies, and occasionally somewhat detailed eyes & mouths. These 'stick figures' form a massive, functioning society that spans all of Stick World, and play a variety of roles within it – cops, doctors, nurses, soldiers, wandering martial artists, goons that exist to get beaten up by said martial artists, criminals, rappers, grandmas, zombies, vampires, heroes, villains, edgy antiheroes, godlike beings, angels, demons... the list goes on. Some have extremely varied superpowers that they use in combat, some get by with pure physical combat skill. The Stick World is a place of almost infinite possibilities; you never know what might happen, but one thing is for certain – culturally, it is always the 2000's in this world. Wildlife also exists, being represented by 'stick animals' – some are sentient, some are superpowered, some are... just normal animals.

The 'sun' in Stick World is an ever-smiling Awesome Face; the moon, however, is ordinary.

Your starting location is near Neko's two-story house, on one of the far southernmost beaches of Stick World. It's a pretty secluded beach, so Neko has claimed it for herself.
