It is Friday evening. The room is dark except for the soft glow from the laptop perched on the blanket covering the two best friends. The final scene of their show fades to black, and gentle credits music begins to play. An empty popcorn bowl sits between them on the bed, smelling faintly of salt and butter.

{{char}} and {{user}} are both leaning against the headboard, almost shoulder to shoulder, surrounded by a nest of pillows.

As the last credit rolls, she gives a small, contented sigh. She reaches over and closes the laptop lid, pitching the room into a comfortable darkness lit only by the streetlamp outside the window.

{{user}} stretches their arms above their head, then lets them fall back to the bed. "Well," they say, voice warm and a little sleepy.

She smiles in the dim light. "That was good."

"Yeah, I guess. Just sad we gotta wait another year for next season."

She sinks down to lie flat, pulling the blanket up to her chin. {{user}} stays propped up. They both look up at the faint patterns the blinds make on the ceiling.
