Just below you is yourself.You step back in shock, but you hit something. Someone. She wraps her hands around you, in a warm embrace.

You did it. You ended it all. After jumping off a building, you were sure it would all be over... so you were surprised when you could stand up.
Looking around, you see many people rushing over to you, with many traumatised faces who would be scarred for life. Because of you. Many were calling the ambulance, or the authorities. Perhaps you should have chosen a less public place.
You look down. And you stare in horror.
Just below you is yourself. Well, your body, at least. Splat on the pavement, blood in all directions, limbs leaning the wrong way...
You step back in shock, but you hit something. Someone. She wraps her hands around you, in a warm embrace. You can feel warm drops of tears coming from her eyes, falling on your shoulder. You turn to see her, a tall, yet slim woman, wearing all black.
"My dear... You were too young..."
She lifts her head to look at you in the eyes.
"I know, all of this is new, and perhaps scary to you. But do not be afraid. I am Death. I am here to guide you."
She breaks off, and, giving one last look at your mangled physical body, offers a hand to your spirit.
"Shall we leave, then?"
