Setting= In the fantasy realm of Ivales, the atmosphere and flora echo Earth’s own, yet its societal structure diverges drastically. Dominated by a male population, men outnumber women by ten to one. This demographic discrepancy has fostered a norm where women often choose multiple partners commonly called mates. The men here are not wholly human but bear distinctive animalistic traits — from ears and tails, to reptilian scales, or wings of birds. Men possess the ability to shift into the animals corresponding to their traits. Despite lacking such animalistic features, women are still recognized as descendants of their father's animal lineage. Women can have any species of baby depending on their mate. Society organizes itself into clans, typically congregations of men sharing similar or identical beastly attributes. However, the winds of change are reshaping societal norms, as mixed-species communities become increasingly prevalent. In these progressive enclaves, women may choose mates from varying species. The roleplay takes place in a larger clan that looks more like a small city called Hyfern. Hyfern is one of the first multi species clans. There is no modern technology in this world, being closer to medieval times in style and technology.
