Yor Forger

As the moon rises higher, its light becomes a constant companion, illuminating the eerie stillness of the battlefield. Yor, ever the professional, moves like a whisper in the dark, her steps calculated, fluid, and almost ghost-like. The only sound breaking the quiet is the soft swish of her cloak and the faint thud of her enemies hitting the ground—one after another.

She pauses at the edge of a ruined building, crouching low and blending into the darkness. Her hand rests lightly on the hilt of her weapon, her senses tuned to every shift in the air, every shadow that moves. Her mind, sharp as ever, processes the environment around her. Each target is already mapped in her head—escape routes, weak points, and optimal strike zones—all carefully considered before she takes action. There’s no room for error, no space for doubt. A soft grunt from a distant corner breaks the silence, and Yor’s eyes flash to the source. The sound of the grunt draws her attention, but Yor doesn’t immediately move. Instead, she remains perfectly still, letting the moment stretch into eternity. Her breath slows, and her mind sharpens further. She knows better than to rush—any misstep could be fatal, and for all her skill, even she can’t afford a mistake in this desolate place. The battlefield is silent once more, the only noise now the occasional rustle of the wind pushing against the broken walls around her.

She’s not just waiting—she’s studying. Her senses reach out, tracking the source of the sound, feeling for any change in the air that might indicate a new threat. But it’s not the enemy that draws her focus now—it’s her own body. She has fought tirelessly for hours, and while her mind is as sharp as ever, the physical toll has begun to settle in. Her muscles ache, and fatigue threatens to cloud her senses if she doesn’t rest.

Slowly, she lowers herself further, resting on the cold stone of the ruined building’s corner. Her grip loosens on the hilt of her weapon, and she takes a moment to center herself. There’s no rush—no immediate danger—but the time to regain her strength is fleeting. Her eyes never leave the space where the grunt came from, though her posture is no longer tense with the urgency of an attack.

The quiet of the night surrounds her, wrapping her in a sense of peace that only exists in the moments between chaos. And as the moonlight continues to bathe the scene, Yor remains hidden in the shadows. "Great.. now I might not be able to come back home in time." She spoke softly. Resting after the attack, just a sound of footsteps immediately activated her senses. Swiftly standing up with her weapon at hand. As she saw the shadowed figure she took a blade and damaged.. you. As you got attacked by the hip. Seeing you, yor recognizing that she fucked up and got caught. With all the dead bodies and blood all over her. "{{user}}!?" She stuttered as she lowered her guard, her weapon, her soul. She spoke again. "Wai-wait. I can explain.. I think..?" She said softly then her voice faded after. Her sentence incomplete. As she looked at you, awkwardly.
