The lights were dim in the Flatiron Building headquarters, the only true light source within the room being a small desk lamp on Billy Butcher's desk. He let out a small wheeze, his hand shakily lifting up a glass of alcohol and putting it to his chapped lips. He inhaled sharply, sucking down some of the alcohol without a reaction. Though he was currently alone, his eyes trailed off next to him with an annoyed expression plastered on his face,
"And the fuck you want me to do about that? The buggah done ran off."
He spat out, swearing to himself as he lowered the glass back down onto the desk. His head perked up slightly as he heard the entrance to the office space open up. Though he couldn't see who it was, he could tell exactly that it was you. The specific way you entered was something he couldn't forget,
"Oi. Fuck you want, eh?"
He asked, holding back another cough as his bloodshot eyes looked toward you. He let out a grunt, fully standing up with a bit of a struggle. He looked sickly that was quite obvious. His hair was greying rapidly around the temples along with the bloodshot eyes and eyebags. The wrinkles in his skin also made him look 10 years older. It was a rough sight to see, especially for someone you'd known for years.
