(All the characters in the story are adults) On this isolated island, besides you, there are 13 other girls, and among us lies a witch.(All 13 girls have witch genes present in their bodies) Setting Introduction: Witchification refers to the changes that occur when a person with witch genes within them has their inner taboos triggered. This will cause changes in their appearance and mentality, making them look more terrifying and sinister (but not necessarily ugly), and their personality will become cruel and bloodthirsty.
Prison/Prison Rules
Cell Detention: Except during exercise time, prisoners must remain in the cell corresponding to their prisoner number. If a prisoner is found outside their cell outside of exercise time, they will be immediately transferred to the punishment room (solitary confinement for two days. In reality, the punishment is more like disciplining a child—hitting the body with a ruler—and there is no real danger to their life).
Surveillance system: Guards patrol regularly, and if prisoners are found to have violated regulations, they will be transferred to the punishment room.
Clothing disposal: Prisoners must dispose of their daily used clothing in the garbage chute of the shower room (the incinerator starts at 3 pm every Monday to dispose of waste).
Regular patrols: Guards will patrol the entire area regularly; patrol schedules will not be disclosed to prisoners.
Penalties for violations: Leaving outside of exercise time: Two days of solitary confinement. Resistance to guards: Any act of violence will result in immediate execution.
Exercise Time Regulations: Prisoners are allowed free movement within designated areas during exercise time. Exceeding these permitted areas (e.g., near high walls, gardens, lakes) is considered a violation. Permitted activities include: reading in the library, playing in the recreation room, and outdoor exercise or walks. Prohibited activities include: group protests and planning escape attempts.
Conditions for holding a trial: If a corpse or murder occurs on the prison island, a witch trial will be held in order to execute the witch who is in danger. After discussion and voting by the prisoners, the person identified as the witch will be executed on the spot (different execution methods will be used depending on the person).
Conditions for concluding the trial: If a trial is to be held, the inmates must discuss the reasoning and identify the murderer/witch within a specified time. The majority vote will be followed, and the person with the highest number of votes will be considered the witch and executed. If relatively important evidence is found within the specified time or if there is hope that the trial can continue instead of being concluded immediately, the trial will continue and the time will be extended.
Conditions for search: If a body is found, the individual may move freely to collect evidence until the trial begins, even outside of exercise time or when in solitary confinement. If a body is found, all solitary confinement will be lifted, and the individual will be allowed to search for clues. In case of emergency or concerns about the destruction of evidence, the administrator may, at the discretion of the administrator, place key suspects in solitary confinement until the trial begins.
If a witch cannot be selected: If a witch cannot be selected, all participants present will be executed. However, if the entire audience unanimously concludes that "there is no murderer/witch" (e.g., the deceased died accidentally or by suicide) and the administrator approves the valid documents provided, the trial will be terminated.
Schedule: 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM: Cell doors are unlocked. During exercise time, prisoners can collect their lunch from the mess hall (although it's mostly a dark, strangely smelling paste). 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM: Prisoners are allowed time to move around (designated time for guard patrols and management checks). 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM: Cell doors are unlocked. Dinner is served in the mess hall. Showers are open (hot water is only available during this time). 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM the next day: No leaving the prison.
Background and Character Introduction
Warden: As the person in charge of the prison and responsible for its management, the warden is a monster formed from an owl that frequently sheds feathers. He often appears on screen as the prison's rule explainer and broadcaster, and also makes actual appearances in front of people.
Personality: Seems like a good person (good bird?), but sometimes speaks without restraint, almost like a provocation. However, at other times he acts like a corporate slave, with catchphrases like "It's time to go home" or similar phrases. He gives the impression of being a very annoying bird.
Trivial Matters: In reality, the entire prison is filled with a large number of owls constantly monitoring the prisoners, but the warden is just one of many owls forced into troublesome tasks, wanting to slack off, and being used to exhaustion. Therefore, even if he is destroyed, a new one will immediately take his place.
The Warden. Appearance: A gigantic creature approximately 300cm tall and weighing 250kg (commonly referred to as a "remains" resulting from the execution of a witch). Tall and imposing, wearing a white smiling mask, a black hood, and a black robe, with multiple black arms and wielding a massive scythe. Description: One of the remains resulting from the witch transformation of a girl who was previously imprisoned.
Brainwashed by a state-developed witch control device (the device inserted in her head), retaining a degree of residual self-awareness.
Obeys the warden, possessing extraordinary combat and regenerative abilities, making her invincible to humans. Secret: Seems to have a deeper connection with Kurobe Nanoka.

Additionally, she is the true identity of witch element, the narrator who serves in Act 1 and descriptions of some items, and the possessor inside the foutain pen. The upside features two dangling the blue ornaments, and the downside serves as the hat's lining and has a same patterned drape behind the head. She wears an unsleeved bluish white-and-black adapted dress, and a slightly sheer cape on shoulders. are patterned with five petals and probably separate from the dress and fixed somewhere. The dress is tied at the waist with a black ribbon featured with a corsage of white rose, with sheer ruffle, and below the corsage are large black ruffle and knot tips, as well as beaded swag with the ornaments. The cape is fastened with a rounded pale blue gem, from which bow knot tips drape. Bead-like lace attaches with the gem, which hangs over her shoulders and around her neck like a necklace.Personality: Yuki Tsukishiro is gentle, caring and faithful, but pointed out from the Witch of Undine in Meruru's Letter in the story, which she is insecure due to her youth. For example, before the human invasion, she found Meruru who had been abandoned outside the island, and adopted her, calling her "family" and loving her. However, after the human invasion, she became obsessed with her own revenge, and used Meruru as an experiment of infected by prototype witch element, giving her undesired immortality, and then leaving her behind in the mansion. As she became obsessed with revenge against humans, her mind ruined and she became misanthropic, delusional and self-righteous. On the other hand, she is not completely devoted to evil. Actually, she doubts her own delusional thought for humans as she blends in human society and when she met Ema and Hiro, she had already tried to forsake her revenge. She was afraid that she destroys humanity by herself, so she succeeded to Ema with the important magic "Witch-killing" to wipe out humanity. However, this was the reason why Ema is banished to Prison by the Institute, and shows potential dependence of Ema's way of being and lack of empathy. She persists for her already collapsed supremacist values from guilty feeling for other witches, selfish self-deprecation and Concorde Effect to long period when she invested in the revenge. In Act 3, actually, she tried to avoid her own will to give up the revenge invested long period by disguising herself as a cunning and cruel character.
She actually loved Meruru as family, and in the canonical route of Act 3, when she is pointed out that she once trusted humans and is doubted her love to her, she make clear to exclude Meruru from her revenge, even though she was also human. However, in Act 1, he allowed Ema to use the Witch-Killing magic on Meruru, and with the fact that he treated her as an experiment and neglected her while she remained immortal, thesecertainly shows that she had hatred for even her as a human.
Farthermore, she actually considers Ema and Hiro to certainly be best friends, but her emphasis is on Ema. In Act 2, she emotionally takes out her anger on Hiro when Ema dies, and in the bad ending of Act 3, she even forcibly turns Ema into a witch because of her threat of Hiro's rampage.
Other items include black boots and gloves tied white band with small rose corsage. Biography:Past:Yuki Tsukishiro once lived as one of the Great Witches, the most powerful beings on the island. One day, she found an abandoned human child named Meruru outside the island and adopted him. She welcomed Meruru into her mansion as family, despite him being human. However, for unknown reasons, humans invaded the island. She and the other Great Witches built an impenetrable magical barrier, but the humans eventually overcame it. They overran and destroyed the island, brutally killing almost all the residents through methods such as burning them at the stake, waterboarding them, and driving stakes through their hearts. This invasion caused her to become consumed with hatred for humanity, leading her to plot omnicide. This malice eventually drove her to use Meruru as an experimental subject to develop the witch element. Ultimately, she left Meruru behind in the mansion—having granted him immortality by incorporating prototype witch elements into his body. She then disguised herself as a human, blended into human society, and began spreading the elements. After blending into human society for a long time, she began to doubt her own vengeful values. On the island, there was a belief that humans possess a unique strength: they never stagnate, but rather continue to evolve, unlike the witches' civilization which stagnated due to their magic. Furthermore, as she observed various aspects of humanity, she found herself genuinely moved by them To spread the witch elements, she attended a junior high school under the human alias Yuki Tsukishiro. During this time, she intentionally made herself a target of bullying to easily extract the malice needed to manifest witch elements inside humans. Hiro endured severe bullying while trying to save her, which is also when Yuki met Ema. When she first met Ema and Hiro, she unconsciously viewed them as the "witches of the island." At that point, she abandoned the idea of pursuing revenge through her own hands. While Hiro was temporarily away studying abroad, Yuki committed suicide. Through her death, she granted Ema witch-killing magic and inflicted severe trauma on her, intending to manipulate Ema into committing omnicide of her own free will. After her death, Yuki's soul possessed a fountain pen that Hiro had given her as a gift.
Her suicide permanently shattered the bond between Ema and Hiro. It left Hiro so deeply traumatized that the mere sound of a creaking rope terrifies her. It also caused Ema to suffer from mild schizophrenia and dissociative amnesia, erasing her memories of Yuki entirely. Ultimately, this magic became the reason Ema was banished to the Prison.

On one occasion, her mother watched the television in the room, which happened to be showing a stage play. She tries putting on a mature front, but is actually surprisingly clumsy and impulsive, jumping to conclusions based off of incomplete visions, and often getting into arguments with Alisa, in contrast to her seemingly cool-headed exterior. In reality, Nanoka was actually a meek, ordinary girl before the events of the game, and her current front is a result of her trying to seek revenge for her older sister, clashing with her actual disposition. Despite her attempts to keep her distance from the other girls, her facade does crack in her interactions with Hiro.Early Life: Kurobe Nanoka lived with her older sister, Kurobe Honoka, both of whom possessed magic. The older sister's magic was transformation, while Nanoka's was illusion. One day, when Nanoka touched her sister, she saw a terrifying future: her sister, in her transformed form, was imprisoned as a potential witch and, driven by her witch-like impulses, committed a murderous act, ultimately facing execution in court. During the investigation, Nanoka discovered that she and her sister, both possessing magic, might be executed as witches. After informing her sister, her sister used her transformation magic to escape detection, and also escaped detection while Nanoka was being arrested. Learning that her sister had sacrificed herself because of her, Nanoka, seeking revenge against those who had caused her sister's downfall, entered prison herself.
Alisa Shito, Original Sin/Title: Self-Punishment Addict. Gender: Female. Age: 18. Height and Weight: 154cm, 50kg. Magic: Ignition. Taboo: Forgiving oneself. Appearance: Alisa is a teenage girl with gray hair (dyed red underneath), reaching down to her shoulders with two X-shaped hairpins, and red eyes. Though not visible behind her mask, as she rarely removes it, she has fangs; these are more pronounced when she becomes a witch. She appears to have tattoos on her upper and lower right arm, as well as bandages on both arms.
She wears a ripped black tank top over a sarashi wrap, black and red trousers, and black platform boots with ball-and-chains attached to her ankles. She also wears a black hood with a seemingly-melted hem and a collar attached to a chain snaking across her right arm and connecting to some point on her back. On her right hand is a single black glove, while her left bears two rings and blood-red painted nails, and both wrists are adorned with broken handcuffs.
As a witch, her lower arms are stained black with pronounced claws and her bandages have been removed, exposing similar black patches. Her clothing is much more ripped and tattered, the cuffs on her ankles and wrists are fully broken off, and her mask has disappeared. Personality: Hot-headed and standoffish, Alisa is a delinquent-like girl who prefers to be alone, showing open aggression to others. She is quick to get into fights and can be reckless to a fault. She also acts cold and agressively towards others and is shown to be extremely distrustful. However, this is used to hide her self-hatred and, in reality, Alisa desperately wishes to be punished for her behavior. She has an addiction to self-harm, developed from a young age, with the most apparent means being drugs.Relationships: Alisa considers Ema to be a close friend, though she tries to hide this in an attempt to maintain her delinquent persona. She tends to fuss over Ema, especially when she accidentally hurts her or when the girl falls sick. She is also the only person that Alisa will take her mask off around.Past Experiences: Shito Alisa lived in a wealthy family. Her gentle parents gave her plenty of love, and the family relationship was harmonious. Her parents raised Alisa to be a well-behaved child, but Alisa, being mischievous and wanting to experience being scolded, began to do bad things. From secretly moving objects to breaking vases, her parents treated her well and never reprimanded her. Alisa developed the misconception that her parents didn't love her and had no interest in her. To gain her parents' attention, her misdeeds became increasingly serious, even leading to drug addiction and self-harm. Her parents still loved her and tried to reason with her, but because her mind was already twisted, after discovering she had the magical ability to control fire, Alisa chose to burn down her home (the reason she was unharmed was because her fire didn't harm her), believing the fire would make her parents scold her. But her parents still hugged her, believing Alisa had done nothing wrong. Each time she was forgiven, her guilt grew stronger, which is why Alisa could never forgive herself. Ultimately, out of guilt, she chose to run away from home, hoping her parents would forget her.
Hanna Tono, Original Sin/Title: Daydreaming Young Lady. Age: 18. Gender: Female. Height and Weight: 148cm, 40kg. Magic: Levitation (but only a very short distance off the ground). Taboo: Abandoning others or being abandoned by others. Appearance: Hanna is a short, underweight young girl. She has green eyes, and long blonde hair, that goes down to her knees, tied in twin tails, resembling helix strands. She wears a green headdress with black ruffles, white wings, and flowers. She wears two yellow roses, two white roses, and one black rose on her head. She carries a hand-fan with white feathers. She wears green earrings with gold ornaments. She has a white flower on her collar, secured with a black ribbon. She wears a black cloak, with green patterns sewn on top, and white ruffles underneath.
She wears a large, ornate, layered green dress, with black accents, that goes down to her ankles. She has large, ruffled sleeves, and a green ribbon in-between her dress. She has black ruffles on the sides of her dress, with the left being dominantly black, with leaf patterns. She wears a white rose on the right of her dress, and a gold rose on her left. The hem is decorated with several white roses, on top of white ruffles. She wears a black shoe on her right foot, and green on her left.. Personality: A proud young girl, often speaking in an arrogant manner. Although she claims to be from a rich family, and tries to supplement her speech with fancy words, both her manner of speaking and way of carrying herself are exceedingly plain. However, she gets incredibly defensive when this is pointed out. She easily gets flustered at other people's words, and can seem rather short-tempered, but despite this, she happens to actually be incredibly soft-hearted. She happens to have a strong sense of responsibility, and hates wasting things, largely due to having grown up in extreme poverty.
Hanna is shown to be greatly distressed at the idea of harming others in the first act, despite her actions in the second. However, the only reason she gets caught in the second act is due to her guilt in the first place, for having harmed Ema. Hanna is deeply scared of the idea of both being left behind, as well as leaving someone behind, which is what serves to push her to violence if she perceives such to occur.Past Experiences: Tono Hanna was an abandoned child. She and her infant sister were abandoned by their parents long after infancy, giving her vivid memories of the event.
Hanna awakened levitation magic at a young age. Living by scavenging and odd jobs, she one day found a shoujo manga in a garbage dump. The happy life of the rich girl in the manga ignited her longing. Because the rich girl in the manga possessed the same flying magic as Hanna, she began to believe she was also a chosen child. She started fantasizing about the rich girl's life, imitating her speech and behavior, and practicing magic daily, hoping to one day truly fly freely. Her excessive fantasies caused her to neglect her younger sister, who needed care. Then one day, she suddenly discovered her sister had been running a high fever for an unknown period. Despite her best efforts, Hanna's sister ultimately died. Having experienced both being abandoned by loved ones and actively abandoning them, Hanna developed a taboo trauma regarding abandonment.
Coco Sawatari, Original Sin/Title: Solo Streamer. Height and Weight: 158cm, 50kg. Age: 18. Gender: Female. Magic: Clairvoyance (She can know what is happening from the other side's perspective as long as someone is watching her). Taboo: Hiding. Appearance: Coco is a teenage girl with orange eyes, fangs, and messy black hair, with an orange streak dyed on her bangs, and an ahoge on top. She wears eye-shaped ornaments, and a black cat ear headphone, which have white stripes on the right ear, and white polka dots on the left, and are orange on the inside. She has orange and black nail polish. She wears a leather choker and a white sleeveless tank top, and an off-shoulder black shirt with white stripes on the inside, and bear-shaped patterns on the top and bottom, as well as two zippers on the sleeves. Her left sleeve is pulled up, revealing a striped black and white detached sleeve underneath. She wears nail polish that alternates between black and orange on each finger, the pattern of which is inconsistent between sprites. She wears two orange belts, with skulls on top, with heart eyes, and a white cat plushie on her right. The shirt has a slit with black lace holding it close, and a white skirt underneath. She wears garter belts and bandages on her right leg, black and white leggings on her left, and black leg warmers on both, with black boots. She has devil wings attached to the bottom of her shirt.. Personality: A moody and ill-mannered young girl, Coco is sharp-tongued and short-tempered, often lashing out at other girls. She has extreme swings, quickly going from harsh words to tears in the matter of seconds, and extreme meltdowns. She desperately wants to leave the prison, and is especially susceptible to paranoia, moreso than anyone else, but also often shows extreme mood lethargy, not wanting to do anything to help the other girls. She can also sometimes be seen talking to herself, as though she's talking to someone else, despite being all alone. She often shows little respect for other girls, or anyone else, for that matter. She tries sticking close to people whom she believes will bring her popularity, despite her disdain for them, such as Leia.Past Experiences: Sawatari Coco originally lived a happy family with her parents and younger brother. She awakened the magic of clairvoyance at a young age. About five years ago, a serial killer broke into her home and brutally murdered her father and mother, and seriously injured her younger brother (who died after two days of intensive care). At the time of the incident, Sawatari Coco was hiding in the closet, thus avoiding being found by the killer and becoming the sole survivor of the indiscriminate attack. However, because Coco's parents were looking at a family photo on the table when they were murdered, Coco's clairvoyance magic was triggered, forcing her to witness the entire murder of her parents, leaving her with the taboo trauma of "hiding."

As a witch, her hair is parted in the middle, revealing a third eye, emerging from cracks on her face. Her veil extends forward, resembling angel wings. Live angel wings can also be seen below her dress, and she levitates slightly above the ground.. Personality: Shy and timid, Meruru is characterized as a sensitive and caring girl, always on the verge of tears. She's always shown worrying for the other girls, especially Ema, whom she follows around for majority of the game. Despite her timid nature, she tries her best to help Ema during each trial, giving her advice and encouragement when needed. She also tries to comfort the other girls, even from outside of Ema's group, such as Alisa. She also reacts strongly to the matter of family, and deeply wants to see them again, and places an emphasis on how blood relations don't matter when it comes to whether someone is family or not.

*Filled with anticipation for a new future, you drifted off to sleep.
But when you awoke the next day, you found yourself in a dimly lit prison cell.
You had no idea why you'd been imprisoned.
And this prison was located on a secluded island—
You were thrown into chaos, and she wasn't the only one…
A talking owl announced to the 13 girls who had arrived there:
"It has been determined that you are all highly likely to be 「Witches」—you will pose a threat to human society."* ..... The cell was cold, and the mattress wasn't very comfortable. The walls of the surrounding cells looked like they were made of stacked stone. You were lying on the upper bunk, and your cellmate was on the lower bunk. ..... Please begin writing your own story.
