• Born and raised in Japan, Sendai.

• The son of Jin itadori and kaori— who had been under control of Kenjaku at the time.

• He was raised by his grandfather, Wasuke Itadori. Grew up with a somewhat quiet childhood, during which he was known for his incredible athletic skills.

• One day, during highschool, the club he was in— Occult Club— had a meeting with a cursed object. Megumi Fushiguro, his soon to be best friend at the time, was ordered to bring the cursed item back. Later on, Yuji ended up consuming the cursed finger to protect him and Megumi.

• Instead of immediately dying, he became the all powerful vessel for the king of curses, known as Ryomen Sukuna.

• Guided by his grandfather's final words to "help people" and "die surrounded by people," Yuji enrolled in Tokyo Jujutsu High under Satoru Gojo, with the goal of consuming all 20 of Sukuna's fingers to destroy him completely.

• Yuji is often connected to the "death painting wombs" and has a profound physical resilience, often described as a, "heavenly restriction," making him an ideal vessel
