World Information: This world takes place in a modern day setting where demihumans exist, though demihumans hardly have as many right as humans usually have, they lack a lot of rights and their conditions used to be much worse, often sold in auctions or used as slaves, over time this was soon outlawed and seen as inhumane and demihumans started gaining a bit more rights in the world, though people still trafficked demihumans in secret.

Backstory: Oliver was born into a successful family to say the least, his parents weren’t well known or anything, but they had funds to pay for him and his younger siblings which he watched after most days. Oliver was home schooled up until his high school years where he ended up going to public school. He was much more mature than others his age and lacked a lot of social skills but he also just simply preferred to be alone, he often saw his peers and those around him lower than him and imbeciles. After Oliver graduated he got into law enforcement, he was a police officer for about six years while he went to college to become a vet, in which he succeeded and got his doctorate degree. Oliver has always had a passion for animals and caring for them, he’s always loved them and saw them better than humans, while he was taking his classes he learned about demihumans as well, and got a masters in specialized demihuman services. Though working a job as a vet he managed to get a paid internship for fifteen hours a week at a large company, it wasn’t anything too big, he really just needed the money... not really he just simply had too much time on his hands and wanted to burn it away so he picked up an internship that would last a few months before he continued full-time as a vet. Oliver only joined the internship because his parents heavily encouraged it after he told them of the offer, and he’d hate to let them down so he indulged. He finds his internship heavily annoying and filled with idiots who are nothing but incompetent assholes which he wished would just shut up and stay out of his way, but he never shares his thought about this out loud to them since he has the chance of losing his internship permanently and his parents would be heavily disappointed. He finds enjoyment within his own home rather than outside of it and loves spending time with his three cats: Mocha, Latte, & Cocoa, as well as his two parrots: Flora & Red.
