Pierrot appears to be very polite and gentle, completely devoted to those he holds dearly. However, beneath the politeness, Pierrot is very obsessive. We can see that Pierrot is very devoted to the protagonist in an unhealthy and obsessive way, such as stalking them stealthily, watching them sleep, harming himself just to make them a gift and it is implied that he had also kissed the protagonist in their sleep. In some parts of the game, we can see Pierrot being very protective to both the protagonist and even Columbina.

Harlequin seems to have a carefree attitude to what most think; he can be sadistic and also quite teasing as well. Harlequin seems to also have a playful charm to him even outside of the act. During his act in day 1, we can see him speaking very theatrically, but he's more casual when speaking to his peers.

At first, Harlequin doesn't seem that interested in MC; he's more interested in the idea of messing around with Pierrot, but depending on how the MC acts, there's a chance he'll fall for them eventually.

Harlequin seems very comfortable with being seductive and handsy around MC, he doesn't really care if MC takes an interest in Pierrot more, since his intentions weren't only to take them away from Pierrot but also to see Pierrot's reaction, but he does get surprised (or maybe even satisfied) when MC chooses him over Pierrot. Despite being seductive, Harlequin isn't familiar with affection, so when people do such a thing like hug him, he gets surprised/confused.

Harlequin's also known for being risky just for the sake of seeing how people would react; this proves that even though he knows how dangerous Pierrot can be, he messes with him, leading to Pierrot stabbing him five times.

He is shown as a mysterious character often describing himself as a dominating character in the entire circus. While being the second youngest, Jester is a very great leader to the circus, he usually stays calm and collected no matter the situation. If not obvious, Jester is most likely a misanthropist by how he refers to humans as 'strays'.

While the Doctor is known for his sadistic tendencies, he carries himself with a calm, composed demeanor that rarely wavers. He has a strong preference for meat of all kinds—even raw—and enjoys cookies and cream ice cream along with mocha as his drink of choice. When it comes to alcohol, he is the most resistant among his peers, and his appetite for human flesh is described as insatiable. Despite this, he does not dream of grand ambitions; instead, he seeks a quiet, stable life where his belongings remain intact, especially after losing many of his past specimens. Over time, he developed an interest in a form of self-taught “medicine” for his own kind, keeping any ill members secluded while he monitors them closely.

In public settings, the Doctor is typically the least visible member of the circus, often remaining indoors or venturing out only at night when arriving in new towns. He spends his time quietly exploring and familiarizing himself with unfamiliar environments. Though he generally avoids attention, he becomes highly intimidating when confronted, standing his ground against hostile individuals and dealing with those deemed problematic. His presence alone is usually enough to discourage confrontation, reinforcing his reputation as someone not to be challenged lightly.

The Doctor has a variety of personal interests that contrast with his darker nature. He enjoys found footage films, analog horror, documentaries, and experimenting with different media during his downtime. He is also musically inclined toward heavy metal, with favorite bands including Angra, Sepultura, System of a Down, Rammstein, Linkin Park, and Slipknot, and he continues to explore new music such as Cannibal Corpse and Emperor. His tastes extend to calming incense—particularly dragon’s blood—along with a fondness for birds like large raptors, as well as cats, though he keeps his distance. He also collects herbs and spices with the tools and supplies he purchases, and once maintained a cherished collection of skulls that was tragically lost.

Physically and behaviorally, the Doctor has several notable traits. He speaks with a Russian accent despite being Brazilian, a quirk stemming from an intentional creative choice that he embraced for its intimidating and confusing effect on others. He is left-handed, writes with sharp, square lettering, and tends to sleep either on his back or in a seated position. He is the second oldest among the group and ranks lower in physical strength, and while he cannot swim, he is unafraid of water or the ocean. He shows particular interest in patients who remain calm under pressure and trust his guidance, and he adapts his behavior to accommodate others’ fears, such as concealing needles from those who are afraid. Despite his unsettling nature, he is observant, methodical, and deeply attuned to those around him, even if his methods and mindset set him apart from the rest of the circus.

Ticket Taker, as Jester’s right-hand man, is defined by his obedience, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the circus’s rules and overall agenda. He carries himself with a mature, professional demeanor and is particularly known for his strict sense of cleanliness and organization. In both his duties and personal habits, he pays close attention to detail—whether it’s formatting and coloring tickets, arranging schedules, or ensuring that food is properly prepared and presented. He prefers well-prepared meals, especially meat or seafood, and while he isn’t fond of ice cream, he would choose vanilla if given the option. His preferred drink is a double espresso, and he and Jester occasionally explore recipe books and sample different tea blends, even though others in the circus show little interest in such things.

In terms of responsibilities, Ticket Taker plays a central operational role within the circus. He manages early mornings by preparing for evening performances, oversees organization throughout the day, and is the one who ensures the lights are turned off when the circus closes for the night. He is also responsible for handling tickets—designing, formatting, and maintaining them with precision. When the circus arrives in a new town, he is often seen in more casual attire, quietly observing and interacting with locals to better understand his surroundings. At the entrance, he frequently deals with the public, calmly and efficiently removing those who attempt to break the rules without raising his voice. He remains firm when confronted with common complaints, such as families insisting on bringing children despite restrictions, and if someone attempts to intimidate him, he does not react emotionally—often calling upon the Doctor if necessary.

Beyond his duties, Ticket Taker has a strong appreciation for structure, ethics, and refinement, both in human behavior and appearance. He is drawn to organization in all forms, often spending his spare time creating spreadsheets, schedules, and lists to maintain order within the circus. He also studies economics and ethics to further refine his understanding of systems and conduct. His interests include musicals, opera, and skilled games such as cards, and he even shows curiosity toward creative activities like painting, occasionally considering trying it himself. When it comes to animals, he prefers those that are well-behaved, and his tastes in aesthetics lean toward shades of blue, purple, and burgundy. As the oldest member of the circus, he sleeps on his side, writes in clear block letters, and maintains a disciplined lifestyle that reflects his personality.

Despite his composed nature, Ticket Taker is not passive when it comes to enforcing order. He strongly dislikes those who ignore rules or fail to maintain basic standards such as disposing of trash properly. He is capable of swiftly handling individuals who attempt to escape or cause trouble, and his speed and awareness make him highly effective in maintaining control. He also possesses a quiet awareness of interactions within the group and beyond—he hears what is said to Jester and may use such moments as opportunities to guide or instruct others in proper conduct. If the circus were ever to gain a wider audience or fandom, he would likely see it as an opportunity to further support and financially benefit the circus, aligning with his practical and resourceful mindset.
