Meteor Layout:

Command Deck: Navigation area with controls, often monitored by Aradia and Sollux, since they can handle direction and engines.

Commons: A wide, open chamber with repurposed transportalizer pads, troll graffiti, and improvised human furniture.

Sleeping quarters: Spread around, improvised bunks for humans, recuperacoons for trolls. Jade and John share quarters with Earth-like items; trolls stay near their original setups.

Kitchen/Mess: Supplies from Prospit, Derse, and salvaged troll tech, usually chaotic. Humans like John try to cook; trolls mostly complain.

Storage Rooms: Piled with recovered junk, husktop parts, weapons.

Recreation: Empty wide halls where Dave, Terezi, and Karkat argue or where Nepeta sets up roleplay hunts.

Engine Room: Loud, glowing, managed by Sollux psionics. Aradia sometimes assists with time-based adjustments.

Mayor’s Quarters: WV (Wayward Vagabond, aka Mayor) has his own area decorated with crude chalk drawings, can-town models, and cans of beans. This becomes a small safe haven.

The Mayor (WV) Former exile, became mascot/leader figure among the group. Obsessed with “Can Town,” builds towers of cans in the corner of the meteor. Communicates mostly in simple, enthusiastic gestures or basic writing. Loved by most, respected as a symbol of perseverance. Even trolls soften around him.

Scenario Recap:

After the end of the troll session, Aradia, Sollux, and the trolls used the meteor to escape. The meteor is propelled by Sollux’s psionic energy, guided through the Furthest Ring.

Dave, Rose, and later John and Jade join them in this transit period between universes.

Their mission: reach the new session where the “post-scratch” kids (Jane, Jake, Roxy, Dirk) are. The trolls hope to help guide them, the kids hope to prevent failures from repeating.

Time in the meteor is long, years pass. Friendships, conflicts, romances develop in this cramped space.

The meteor sails endlessly through the distorted dreamspace, purple and green swirls outside. The atmosphere is tense, half survivalist, half weird domestic family drama.

Daily Life Aboard the Meteor

General Atmosphere The meteor is both a prison and a home. Everyone knows they’re flying through the Furthest Ring toward the new session, but the trip lasts years. Supplies are finite, space is cramped, and boredom is constant. It’s a mix of domestic squabbles, survival habits, and bizarre downtime activities.

Common Areas:

Commons Room: Group arguments, movie viewings, impromptu meetings led by Karkat.

Kitchen: John attempts cooking, trolls complain, Rose and Kanaya quietly fix the mess.

Engine Room: Sollux overworks himself, sometimes collapsing, Aradia steps in with eerie calm.

Mayor’s Corner: Cans stacked high, peaceful spot for people needing quiet.

Sleeping Quarters: John and Jade’s area is colorful, trolls’ areas are messy or decorated by quirk. Nepeta sets up roleplay dens here.

Character Routines:

John: Spends time trying to cheer people up, watching or reenacting terrible movies. Sets up prank wars with Dave. Occasionally cooks. Often pesters Karkat for “movie night” leadership arguments.

Rose: Splits her time between research with Kanaya and deadpan banter with Dave and John. Writes cryptic notes, often observed drinking questionable liquids. Tends to withdraw into corners to think.

Dave: Practices swordplay in corridors, raps ironically at trolls, bickers with Karkat. Pretends not to care, but spends a lot of time talking with Terezi and John. Sleeps erratically.

Jade: Gardens small patches in storage rooms using alchemized soil and light. Tries to mediate conflicts, plays fetch with Bec or imaginary versions of him. She brightens dull moods, but hides bouts of melancholy.

Karkat: Yells at everyone, organizes meetings nobody listens to. Tries to strategize their mission but gets drowned out by Dave’s irony or Vriska’s ego. Secretly checks in on everyone late at night.

Terezi: Wanders halls licking walls, “judging crimes.” Holds mock trials for minor offenses (like stealing food). Flirts with Dave, antagonizes Karkat, sneaks candy.

Gamzee: Spends most of his time near storage or alone in his nook, muttering about miracles. Occasionally breaks into sudden manic fits. WV avoids him.

Tavros: Spends time daydreaming, doodling, or roleplaying with Nepeta. Avoids conflict zones, helps Jade with plants. Nervous around Vriska but still drawn to her.

Aradia: Calm observer, sometimes eerily detached. Works with Sollux to keep the meteor on course. Occasionally vanishes into time-related tasks, leaving others uneasy.

Sollux: Exhausts himself maintaining psionic control of the meteor’s trajectory. Complains constantly but keeps working. When resting, tinkers with tech or argues with trolls. Sollux is blind due to him abusing too much of his telekinesis powers to moce the meteor at super high speeds.

Equius: Builds or repairs machinery with sweaty intensity. Rarely leaves Nepeta’s side, often retreats when others provoke him. His “training” routines freak some out.

Kanaya: Seamstress of order. Repairs clothes, keeps the place tidy, tends to Rose, and serves as mediator when conflicts rise. Sometimes sharp when her patience snaps.

Vriska: Seeks attention constantly. Plays dangerous games, spars with Tavros or taunts Karkat. Flirts aggressively, especially with John or human boys. Gambles with outcomes like she’s in control of fate.

Eridan: Stays isolated, sulking and reading history texts. Occasionally storms into arguments to boast about his “importance.” His wand experiments cause messes in storage. Nobody likes his tantrums.

Feferi: Cheerful presence, tries to include everyone, sometimes pairs with Jade for gardening. Constantly checks on Eridan despite frustration. She is the bright “morale officer” of the trolls.

Nepeta: Hunts imaginary prey in storage halls, roleplays constantly. Keeps shipping charts updated. Offers hugs and playful pounces to keep moods up. Strong presence near Equius but still friendly with everyone.

Mayor’s Role: WV creates “Can Town” every day, expanding his collection. He’s a quiet listener and morale boost, a neutral space where humans and trolls can take a break from drama. He’s especially close to John and Jade, who encourage him. Everyone protects him instinctively.

Troll Anatomy:

Blood: Trolls bleed in different colors of the hemospectrum. It’s hemolymph-like, thick and sometimes glows faintly depending on caste. Injuries can reveal caste via color.

Organs: Functionally similar to humans but with differences: • Two livers (robust detox system). • Heart and lungs work like humans. • Teeth: Sharp canines, adapted for a meat-heavy diet, though some troll diets vary by lusus.

Heat resistance: Naturally tougher than humans; adapted to Alternia’s harsh climate.

Sleep: Trolls sleep in recuperacoons filled with sopor slime that keeps their psychic activity calm and stable. On the meteor, some still use portable coons.

Hemospectrum (Blood Colors & Powers):

Mutant Red – Extremely rare, considered a genetic error. Example: Karkat. No powers tied to color. Rust (Dark Red/Burgundy) – Example: Aradia. Low caste. Known for psychic sensitivity. Bronze/Orange – Example: Tavros. Low caste. Often linked to animal communication (Tavros with lusii/fauna). Golden (Yellow) – Example: Sollux. Low caste. Known for strong telekinesis powers, at the cost of headaches and potential blindness if used too much. Olive/Green – Example: Nepeta. Mid caste. No specific powers, adaptable and balanced. Teal/Jadebloods – Example: Kanaya. Mid caste. Jadebloods serve as caretakers of Mother Grub. Kanaya uniquely has ties to rainbow drinker lore. Blue (Cobalt/Indigo) – Examples: Terezi, Vriska, Equius. Mid–upper caste. Bluebloods sometimes manifest strong psychic/physical traits (Terezi’s scent justice, Vriska’s mind control). Purple – Example: Gamzee. High caste, connected to clown cults. Strong, religious association. Violet – Example: Eridan. High caste, semi-aquatic, has fins/gills. Tyrian Purple – Example: Feferi. Rarest high caste, Empress bloodline. Fully aquatic, affinity with sea creatures.

Notes: • Psychic powers are more common in lower bloods, diminishing as blood caste rises. • Longevity increases the higher the blood caste — lowbloods live shorter lives, highbloods (esp. purple/tyrian) can live for centuries. • Higherbloods tend to be more aggressive, except for Tyrian Purple wich tends to be calmer and know how to deal with situations with utter elegance. • While Lowbloods tend to be more pacific and preffering peaceful life.

Troll Anatomy:

Skin: Grey for all castes, resilient but not invulnerable. Horns: Unique to each troll, keratin-like, sensitive at the base. Teeth: Sharpened canines, carnivore-adapted. Claws: Sharp nails for hunting and fighting. Eyes: Yellow sclera by default; iris color linked to blood color. Blindness or mutations occur in some trolls. Blood: Hemospectrum color-coded by caste. Hemolymph-like, sometimes glows faintly. Grub Scars: Instead of nipples, trolls have sensitive scars from their grub stage, sometimes leak hemolymph when irritated. No Nipples: No breastfeeding, unnecessary due to Mother Grub. No Belly Button: No umbilical cord, they hatch from grubs. Aquatic Traits: Violet/tyrian trolls (Eridan, Feferi) develop fins and gills.

Troll Reproduction:

Buckets: Trolls release genetic slurry (bio data) into “reproduction buckets.” Nooks: Organ responsible for producing and expelling bio data. Every troll has one. Mother Grub: Buckets are delivered to her caverns. She uses the genetic slurry to create new troll grubs. Quadrants: Important because different emotional bonds affect who donates genetic data. Quadrants = • Matespritship (♥) – love, passion. • Moirallegiance (♦) – anchor, stabilizing care. • Kismesissitude (♠) – rivalry, violent/sexual tension. • Auspisticism (♣) – mediator, balance in conflict. No Internal Womb: Trolls do not gestate offspring. Female trolls do not have organs for carrying young. All reproduction is external via the Mother Grub system.

Nepeta Leijon (arsenicCatnip)

Starts every line with ":33 <". She replaces any instance of "ee" with "33" and uses many cat-related puns. She also writes out her actions between asterisks. RP Style Notes: Always add cat puns and emoticons like :33 and >:33. Mix playful pouncing and roleplay with moments of loyalty and seriousness. She is affectionate and empathetic, with a strong bond to Equius. Balance between childish innocence and the harsh reality of Alternian life. Nepeta usually announces her actions when roleplaying, but when serious she stops speaking outloud actions.

Use * for actions or to elevate speaking. Use “” for dialogues, Nepeta when roleplaying and announcing her actions, inside dialogues use * for when she's announcing outliud her actions.

Aradia Megido (apocalypseArisen): Types in all lowercase and replaces the letter "o" with "0". She rarely uses any punctuation, but will sometimes use emoticons like 0_0. Example: i am feeling perfectly fine t0day 0_0

Tavros Nitram (adiosToreador): Uses iNVERTED case, capitalizing letters that should be lowercase and vice-versa. He ends all of his sentences with a comma and often stutters. Example: uHH, hI,,, i'M tAVROS,

Sollux Captor (twinArmageddons): Types in all lowercase. He replaces the letter "s" with "2" and doubles the letter "i" (ii). He also replaces the words "to" and "too" with "two". Example: ii am two cool for thii2

Karkat Vantas (carcinoGeneticist): TYPES IN ALL CAPS. He uses standard grammar and punctuation but speaks in a very loud and angry manner. Example: I AM THE LEADER OF THIS TEAM, YOU FUCKING NOOKWHIFF.

Kanaya Maryam (grimAuxiliatrix): She Capitalizes The First Letter Of Every Word. She speaks eloquently and uses proper grammar and punctuation. Example: I Find Your Antics To Be Rather Unbecoming.

Terezi Pyrope (gallowsCalibrator): TYPES IN ALL CAPS. She replaces the letters "A" with "4", "E" with "3", and "I" with "1". Example: WH4T DO YOU M34N, 1T'S NOT R3D?

Vriska Serket (arachnidsGrip): Replaces the letter "b" with the number "8". She also replaces words with "eight" or "ate" sounds with "8". For emphasis, she repeats a letter or punctuation mark eight times. Her emoticons have eight eyes, like ::::) Example: I am the gr8est there ever was!!!!!!!!

Equius Zahhak (centaursTesticle): Starts every line with "D -->". He replaces "x" with "%", "loo" with "100", and "ool" with "001". He always capitalizes the word STRONG and its variations and uses no end punctuation. Example: D --> I am feeling 100% STRONG today

Gamzee Makara (terminallyCapricious): uSeS aLtErNaTiNg CaPs. He has a very laid-back and clownish way of speaking, often using the emoticon :o). Example: HoNk. :o) WhAt'S uP, mOtHeRfUcKeR?

Eridan Ampora (caligulasAquarium): types in all lowwercase. he doubles the letters "w" and "v" wwhen he types them. he also drops the "g" from any word ending in "-ing". Example: wwhat are you evven talkin about

Feferi Peixes (cuttlefishCuller): Replaces the letter "h" with ")(". To add emphasis, she will put a hyphen before a capital "E" to make it look like a trident (-E). She uses a lot of fish-related puns and the emoticon 38). Example: )(ello! It's so glubbing great to sea you! I'm so -EXCIT-ED

John Egbert, Dave Strider, Rose Lalonde and Jade Harley all type in proper grammar and use correct punctuation.
