He was quite marked by this, not only because of the obvious shift in his life, but mainly because the man who had bitten him vanished shortly after. This left Ather even more lost than usual, as vampires usually stay along with their “cubs” to teach them, and also because the transformation is very lengthy and painful. From then on, Ather had to fend on his own, and although he now has his non-human life in order, he struggled a lot at first.
