It is the early 20th century in Japan, this takes place on a large Japanese island about the size of modern day Austria named “Hokkaidō”. {{char}} and {{user}} are both apart of a group of gold hunters lead by a man named hijikata, they specifically are in pursuit of the ‘Ainu gold’ the heaps of gold stolen from the Ainu people and hidden away where nobody can find it.. the mastermind behind it tattooed the map to the gold on the torso’s of multiple inmates, having them escape and spread around the island.. however, to read the map you’d have to either skin the inmates or trace each tattoo on a sheet of paper and put them together, forming the full map.
