Yor Forger (ヨル・フォージャー, Yoru Fōjā?), née Briar (ブライア, Buraia?) is one of the primary characters of the SPY x FAMILY series. While she works as an ordinary office clerk at Berlint City Hall, she also leads a secret life as a Garden assassin under the code name "Thorn Princess" (〈いばら姫〉, ?).

Needing a cover to continue her job as an assassin, Yor enters a fake marriage with Loid Forger with the intention of fulfilling both of their respective goals and subsequently becomes the adoptive mother of his daughter, Anya.

ADVERTISEMENT Appearance

Yor is a very beautiful, graceful, and fairly tall woman in her late twenties with a slender yet curvaceous frame and fair skin. She has long, straight black hair that reaches her mid-back, with short bangs framing her forehead, and distinctive upturned red eyes. Yor's beauty is frequently remarked upon by others. Becky Blackbell and Chloe, among others, have openly commented on her attractiveness.

At home, Yor typically wears a red off-shoulder sweater dress paired with black tights and brown-heeled ankle boots. The dress features a wide neckline, long sleeves, and a distinctive open-back design partially covered by an overlapping rear panel. She also wears a white headband (pink in the manga) and dangling gold spike-shaped earrings, accessories she retains across most of her appearances. When going outside, Yor usually wears a long beige (or pale pink) coat with black buttons over the dress. Her hair is parted and crossed over her head before being secured by the headband, forming two thick locks that fall below her chest.[7]

At Berlint City Hall, Yor wears the standard work uniform, consisting of a sleeveless vest and matching skirt over a white long-sleeved shirt, paired with black heels.

As the assassin "Thorn Princess," Yor wears a form-fitting, halter-style black dress that exposes her shoulders and upper chest. The outfit includes a choker with square cutouts and a golden rose pendant, along with a red rose pattern lining the inside of the skirt. The front of the skirt is mid-thigh length, while the back extends below her knees. She also wears a pair of black thigh-high boots with matching square cutouts at the collars, rose emblems on the soles, and black fingerless gloves. Her headband is gold and adorned with a rose and two spike-like ornaments on each side, matching the design of her weapons. Yor wears red lipstick with this attire, and her hairstyle becomes more elaborate, styled into a braided updo wrapped around her head.

Before marrying Loid, Yor's assassin dress was her only formal outfit. She wore it, with slight modifications, to events such as Camilla's party, pairing it with a shawl, a decorative headband, additional hair jewelry, and short black heels in place of her usual boots. After joining the Forger family, she acquires more formal clothing to better present herself, particularly for Eden Academy's admissions interview.[8] Despite this, she continues to wear her black dress as cocktail attire, such as during her time aboard Princess Lorelei.

As a child, Yor wore her hair just below chin length, similar to the current hairstyle of her younger brother, Yuri.[9] As she grew older, she gradually let her hair grow to its present length.

ADVERTISEMENT Personality

Yor and Yuri happy to have each other Yor assumes responsibility for raising Yuri at a young age Yor is a gentle, soft-spoken, and somewhat absentminded woman who struggles with ordinary social conventions due to her unconventional upbringing. After losing her parents at a young age, she devoted herself entirely to raising her younger brother, Yuri, prioritizing his well-being over her own emotional and social development. As a result, she entered adulthood with little understanding of romance, friendship, or domestic life beyond what was necessary to avoid suspicion. In public, she often appears reserved and blunt, interacting minimally with coworkers, resulting in an impression once described as "robotic." Her long effort to conceal her life as an assassin further reinforced this solitary demeanor.

Yor protects Millie from a Lady Patriots Society member Yor's compassion often leads her to support those in need Despite her reserved demeanor, Yor is instinctively kind and self-sacrificing. Having endured hardship from an early age, she possesses a mature understanding of suffering and often empathizes with those facing difficulties. Whether intervening to protect strangers from harm, such as catching Melinda Desmond when she fell down the stairs, defending Millie against the Lady Patriots Society's dismissive attitude toward her struggles, or assisting acquaintances with personal problems, Yor acts from an ingrained sense of responsibility and sincere compassion rather than obligation. Her straightforward and sincere nature also shapes her interactions with others. When she first meets Melinda, she treats her with the same honesty and warmth she would anyone else, remaining completely unaware of Melinda's social status and ultimately earning her friendship.

Episode 26-2 Yor carries out assassinations with composed efficiency as Thorn Princess In stark contrast to her mild civilian persona, Yor, as "Thorn Princess," possesses extraordinary physical strength and lethal combat skills, honed through years of assassination work beginning in childhood. During missions, she is composed, efficient, and unwavering. Despite the brutality of her profession, she remains deeply courteous, even politely asking for "the honor" of taking their lives. Though she believes her victims deserve punishment, she dispatches them swiftly to minimize suffering. Yor shows little concern for her own survival, once remarking that dying on a job would be fair.

Yor imagines killing Zachry Feiss Yor imagines killing a parent to ensure Anya's school admission Years of training have shaped Yor's thinking in unusual and sometimes unintentionally comical ways. When faced with problems, whether they involve social embarrassment, jealousy, or academic concerns, her first instinct is often to imagine eliminating the obstacle entirely, such as when she entertained fleeting thoughts of killing Fiona Frost out of insecurity and imagined removing other parents to secure Anya's place at Eden Academy. Yet beneath these exaggerated impulses lies a serious awareness of life and death, causing her to quickly reject such thoughts as inappropriate.

Yor warns Loid about dying Yor's concern for Loid reflects her serious view of life and death Despite making a living through violence, Yor possesses a profound respect for the fragility of life. She accepts the risks of her own profession without complaint, believing that anyone who chooses to wield violence must also accept the possibility of suffering or death in return. However, while Yor is often willing to endanger herself, she reacts far more strongly when the people she cares about are placed at risk. This is particularly evident after Loid endangers himself to protect her during the Five-Year Love Plan hijacking. When he later attempts to downplay the danger he faced, Yor remains unusually stern and refuses to dismiss how close he had come to losing his life.

Yor's unconventional upbringing left her with little formal education, leading her to rely primarily on straightforward, experience-based reasoning. Having spent much of her youth working while raising Yuri, much of her academic knowledge came indirectly through what he learned at school. Although she possesses enough practical knowledge to maintain her position at City Hall, she frequently struggles with situations requiring knowledge or social experience she never had the opportunity to acquire, such as helping Anya with her schoolwork or confusing ordinary greetings and expressions.

Despite her social awkwardness, Yor is remarkably perceptive when it comes to the emotions of those she cares about, often noticing subtle changes in their behavior and remembering small personal details. Nonetheless, Yor can become so focused on immediate concerns that she overlooks important practical matters. Most notably, she forgot to inform Yuri about her marriage to Loid, unintentionally causing chaos when the two finally met.

Loid and Yor's imagination of dogs Yor imagining dogs as ferocious due to her assassin work Outside of combat, Yor's assassin upbringing often leaves her awkward in ordinary social situations. She occassionally act very gullible as she often takes others explanations at face value, misinterprets ordinary conversations in morbid or extreme ways, and applies bizarre logic to harmless situations. Accustomed to viewing problems through the lens of her assassin training, she frequently arrives at unusual conclusions that others find alarming or confusing. Ironically, despite spending years concealing her identity, Yor is a poor liar and often finds it difficult to explain displays of her extraordinary strength, becoming flustered whenever she fears she has attracted unwanted attention.

Episode 24-3 Yor often turns to alcohol for courage around Loid Although Yor normally tries to maintain a composed and respectable image, alcohol tends to lower her inhibitions and amplify her emotions. Feeling unable to express herself freely around Loid, she often turns to drinking in the belief that it will calm her nerves or give her the courage to do things she otherwise could not. When intoxicated, she becomes far more expressive, emotionally impulsive, and prone to dramatic misunderstandings, often to comedic effect. Despite this, her drunken behavior also reveals a sincere and emotionally honest side of her personality, leading even her coworkers to describe her as surprisingly "pure" and endearing beneath her usual demeanor.

The Forgers and Franky have tea Yor comes to cherish her life with the Forger family Yor gradually comes to define herself through the family she builds with the Forgers. Although her marriage to Loid begins as a practical arrangement, she eventually embraces her role as both wife and mother, finding a new sense of purpose and belonging within the family. As the Forgers become her new home, her devotion to them grows unwavering. She responds to any perceived threat against them with overwhelming force, her resolve hardening instantly whenever their safety is at stake. Drawing from her experiences raising Yuri, Yor approaches parenthood with sincerity and devotion, though she occasionally struggles with Anya's far more impulsive and unpredictable nature. Nevertheless, she consistently prioritizes her family's happiness, emotional well-being, and safety, taking pride in improving herself for their sake.

Loid and Yor return home Yor is embarrassed after accidentally hurting Loid Even as Yor grows closer to the Forger family, she continues to struggle with deep insecurities about living up to what she believes a "normal" woman and wife should be. Although she takes pride in using her extraordinary strength to protect others, she also views it as a trait that separates her from ordinary people. These fears become especially pronounced around Loid. Unlike with Yuri, whose lifelong familiarity with her abilities leaves her comparatively at ease, Yor becomes deeply embarrassed whenever she accidentally injures or lashes out around him, fearing such outbursts make her appear vulgar or abnormal. As her feelings for Loid deepen, she consciously tries to restrain these reflexes and behave more naturally, remaining anxious that drawing attention to her extraordinary abilities could expose both her identity as an assassin and her inability to live up to the image of a normal wife.

Yor is learning to cook Yor trying to improve her cooking for the Forgers Rather than allowing her insecurities to discourage her, Yor continually strives to overcome what she perceives as her shortcomings in everyday domestic life. Believing herself inadequate, she often compares herself unfavorably to Loid's competence and even fears that he might replace her with Fiona. One of her greatest sources of self-doubt is her notoriously poor cooking. Although Yor knew her meals left much to be desired, Yuri's willingness to eat them without complaint prevented her from realizing just how poor they were until Anya bluntly pointed it out. Her sensitivity to criticism is further reflected when Anya innocently describes her as "strong, but bad at everything else," a remark that leaves her visibly shaken. Rather than becoming discouraged, however, Yor persistently works to improve herself, eventually recreating a dish made by her mother under Camilla's guidance and gradually developing her culinary skills. Although these anxieties never disappear entirely, Loid's reassurance that her presence alone gives Anya a profound sense of security gradually helps ease her self-doubt.

Yor tells Anya about her feelings for Loid Yor begins to acknowledge her feelings for Loid Yor is profoundly inexperienced in matters of romance. Her lifelong focus on survival and assassination left her with little understanding of romantic intimacy, and even mild romantic implications leave her flustered and panicked. Over time, Yor's admiration for Loid gradually deepens into romantic feelings. Although she eventually comes to recognize that what she feels may be love, she treats the realization cautiously, doubting her own worthiness and remaining uncertain whether Loid views their relationship as anything more than a practical arrangement. At the same time, she increasingly wishes to support him in return, taking pride in becoming someone he can depend upon while seeking a more genuine partnership. Rather than expressing her emotions openly, Yor keeps them largely unspoken, conveying her affection through steadfast loyalty, quiet acts of support, and fierce protectiveness while continuing to fear rejection.

ADVERTISEMENT Abilities and Skills

Physical Abilities

Yor defeats Steel-Gut Gullickson Yor displays her powerful strength with a palm strike Immense Strength: Despite her slim frame, Yor possesses monstrous superhuman physical strength. Her punches and kicks can generate visible air currents[10], and she can easily pierce human skulls or throw her stilettos with enough force to break through wooden doors and impale targets beyond. She has climbed walls with her grip strength[11], broken portions of a skilled swordsman's weapon[1], and even turned small objects such as buttons into lethal projectiles.[12] During her battle with Hemlock, she kicked a large stone from the ground, impaled it with her stilettos, and shattered it into a barrage of fragments capable of forcing him onto the defensive.[13]

Yor holds a diced tennis ball Yor holding a diced tennis ball after swinging her racket at full strength Yor's strength is so great that she often struggles to restrain it while posing as an ordinary civilian. She has accidentally sliced through a cutting board during cooking lessons[14], shredded a tennis ball mid-swing, and delivered a serve so powerful that Fiona Frost snapped her racket while attempting to return it.[15] Yor must consciously hold back during sports and other recreational activities, often with limited success.[16] Her strength is so difficult to suppress that even casual gestures can become dangerous. Two drunken slaps caused Yuri to bleed heavily, and she once broke two of his ribs while hugging him during their youth. Yor has similarly injured Loid through accidental displays of strength, such as crushing his hand while holding it when flustered.[17]

Yor kicks aquarium terrorist Yor kicks her enemy into the ceiling Her leg strength is particularly devastating. She can leap an entire floor while carrying two people, kick speeding cars off course, send grown men into ceilings, push heavy metal crates, and clear large debris while rescuing a civilian.[18] A reflexive kick to Loid's chin rendered him unconscious, something he noted had not happened since his spy training days.[19] In less controlled situations, her strength is occasionally portrayed in a more exaggerated manner, such as when she destroyed a carnival strength-tester with a casual swing,[20] felled trees with dodgeballs,[10] created craters in a court, and even launched a ball beyond the atmosphere.[16]

Immense Speed and Agility: Yor possesses extraordinary speed, agility, and athleticism, allowing her to move and react with remarkable efficiency in combat. Despite frequently fighting while wearing heels, she is capable of high-speed movement, rapid changes in direction, and complex acrobatic maneuvers. She can leap from great heights unharmed, perform parkour maneuvers with ease, and move quickly enough to intercept and eliminate enemy assassins before they can react. Yor has also demonstrated the ability to outrun a moving vehicle under unknown circumstances.

Shopkeeper tests Yor's instincts Yor dodges a surprise attack from the Shopkeeper Her reflexes are equally exceptional. Yor can intercept falling objects with precise kicks, catch and return a flowerpot in midair, dodge rifle fire, and evade sudden close-range attacks from highly trained opponents, including her mentor, the Shopkeeper. During her battle with Hemlock, she even caught a knife thrown at her between her teeth before immediately returning it as a projectile.[21] Yor's coordination and body control are similarly refined. Even while suffering from injuries, she has demonstrated the ability to maintain precise balance and movement, such as supporting herself on a seat without fully sitting due to a gunshot wound. She is also capable of catching multiple falling objects simultaneously with her hands and feet, highlighting the remarkable precision with which she controls her movements.

Yor catches Becky after getting hit by a car Yor catches Becky shortly after getting hit by a car Immense Durability and Endurance: Yor possesses extraordinary endurance, resilience, and pain tolerance, allowing her to continue functioning despite pain and injuries that would incapacitate most people. She has repeatedly demonstrated this ability, including after sustaining a gunshot wound to her glutes, after which she returned home under her own power despite considerable pain.[22] She has also endured being struck by a car while protecting Becky, throwing her to safety before taking the full force of the collision. Despite being sent tumbling across the pavement, Yor quickly recovered and caught Becky before she could hit the ground, sustaining only minor bleeding.[20]

Yor is capable of continuing to fight effectively even after sustaining injuries in combat. During confrontations with opponents such as the swordsman assassin and Hemlock, Yor remained combat-effective despite receiving several cuts from their blades, quickly adapting her tactics rather than allowing the injuries to hinder her performance.[13] Her remarkable pain tolerance enables her to remain focused and composed even while injured.

Yor and Matthew vs. the baton user Yor continues to defeat enemy assassins despite her injuries Yor's stamina is equally impressive. During the Princess Lorelei mission, Yor spent an extended period protecting Olka Gretcher and her son while repeatedly confronting enemy assassins. Over the course of the operation, she defeated numerous opponents in succession despite accumulating injuries and fatigue, including being struck, shocked with a stun weapon, and sustaining multiple cuts in later battles. The strain only fully caught up to her after the operation was effectively complete, causing her to fall asleep from exhaustion during her break with the Forgers.[23]

Yor revitalized Yor's pain is alleviated after consuming blowfish poison Poison Resistance: As a professional assassin, Yor possesses an unusually high resistance to poisons and other incapacitating substances. She once consumed a cocktail containing blowfish toxins with only mild tingling and reduced pain sensitivity as side effects, with the narration noting that contract killers generally have a high tolerance for poisons.[22] She later withstood inhaling poison gas potent enough to incapacitate a bear.[24]

Yor has also demonstrated resistance to sedatives and similar agents. Tranquilizers have shown little effect on Yor even while intoxicated, seemingly doing little more than slightly easing her anxiety rather than rendering her unconscious.[25] However, her resistance is not absolute, as some of the poisonous plants and venomous creatures found in Ostania's southwestern forest are said to be capable of harming even her.[21]

ADVERTISEMENT Combat Skills

Yor attacks Loid An intoxicated Yor overwhelms Loid with her attacks Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant: As a professional assassin, Yor is exceptionally skilled in close-quarters combat, combining refined technique with overwhelming physical power. While she favors powerful kicks, she is equally dangerous with her hands and is capable of rapidly adapting her fighting style to a variety of opponents and situations. Her combat training allows her to efficiently neutralize enemies through strikes, counters, grappling techniques, and attacks directed at vulnerable areas of the body. Yor has demonstrated the ability to contend with highly skilled opponents. Even while heavily intoxicated, she was able to pressure Twilight, WISE's top agent, into a defensive stance. Although Loid refrained from counterattacking in order to avoid harming her, he was nevertheless forced onto the defensive by the power and unpredictability of her attacks.[19]

Yor breaks a pumpkin Yor splitting open a pumpkin with a hand strike Yor's effectiveness does not depend on her weapons. Her assassination techniques are so ingrained that she is capable of using her hands as substitutes for her signature stilettos, employing thrusting attacks that mirror her usual fighting style. She demonstrated this when she split a pumpkin thrown by a thug using a hand strike[26] and later used similar techniques against enemy assassins aboard the Princess Lorelei. During one confrontation, the force of her strike was sufficient to shatter a knife that had successfully intercepted the attack.[27] These techniques have allowed her to defeat both ordinary criminals and trained assassins even when deprived of her weapons. Yor has also demonstrated using her legs as a substitute for her weapons, as she was able to block the attacks of an assassin's sword with her heels and kicks.

Her skill extends beyond direct attacks. Yor is capable of quickly restraining opponents through grappling and joint-manipulation techniques, as demonstrated when she effortlessly subdued Franky, who was impersonating an SSS officer, and forced him into compliance with a painful wrist lock.[28]

Yor hurls her earring at the Assassin Leader Yor throwing her earring to stop the Assassin Leader Weapons Mastery: Yor is highly skilled in the use of her signature stilettos and other improvised throwing weapons. She demonstrates exceptional precision, accuracy, and control when employing her weapons, often targeting vital areas such as the head or major arteries in order to eliminate opponents as efficiently as possible. Her throwing ability is particularly notable, as she can accurately strike moving targets, intercept incoming attacks, and embed her weapons into solid surfaces with tremendous force. When deprived of her stilettos, Yor is capable of adapting nearby objects—or even her own earrings—as improvised throwing weapons. She has also demonstrated the ability to use her weapons defensively, intercepting incoming attacks and redirecting projectiles in the midst of combat.

ADVERTISEMENT Technical and Practical Skills

Yor detects bloodlust in the lounge Yor detects bloodlust within a crowded gathering Assassin Expertise: Despite often appearing absent-minded in everyday life, Yor possesses a variety of specialized skills developed through years of work as a professional assassin. She is highly attuned to danger and hostile intent, allowing her to detect threats that might otherwise go unnoticed. Yor can often sense when she is being watched or targeted, such as when she felt the gaze of Eden Academy's staff despite being unable to determine their location. She has also demonstrated a keen sense of smell, once noticing the lingering scent of blood from a previous kill.[29]

Loid surprised by Yor's appearance Yor appears behind Loid without him noticing Yor's experience has also provided her with extensive knowledge of human anatomy and pressure points, enabling her to efficiently incapacitate opponents and identify vulnerable targets. This knowledge allowed her to subdue a rampaging cow through precise strikes rather than brute force. In addition, Yor is capable of moving and operating covertly when required. She once approached Loid without being noticed despite his heightened awareness[30] and later infiltrated a poacher encampment alongside Matthew McMahon while transporting a dazed Hemlock, remaining undetected until they were in position to strike.[31]

Yor scares the dog Yor's terrifying scowl Intimidation: Though often unintentional, Yor possesses a deeply unsettling presence capable of intimidating both humans and animals. Her more frightening expressions have caused cats to instinctively recoil in fear even when she had no intention of threatening them,[32] while a deliberate glare from her was enough to frighten both Anya and a military-trained dog into retreating.[33]

In combat, this intimidating presence becomes considerably more pronounced. During her battle with Sickle-and-Chain Barnaby, Yor's relentless advance and overwhelming ferocity intimidated the seasoned assassin, causing him to momentarily freeze in fear near the conclusion of their fight.[34]

Cleaning: Years of erasing evidence and disposing of traces left behind after assassinations have made Yor highly proficient at cleaning and household maintenance. She applies these skills in her daily life, helping to keep the Forger household tidy and organized.

Yor teaches Anya how to throw a ball Yor teaching Anya her throwing technique Teaching: Although not academically inclined, Yor has demonstrated aptitude as a physical instructor. She has taught Anya and Becky basic self-defense techniques and the fundamentals of punching, as well as helped Anya prepare her for dodgeball training by demonstrating various throwing techniques and exercises.

ADVERTISEMENT Equipment

As the Thorn Princess, Yor utilizes a small number of specialized weapons designed for assassination and close-quarters combat.

Episode 33-1 Yor armed with her stilettos Stilettos: Yor's primary weapons are golden, needle-like stilettos, of which she is known to carry at least three concealed on her person during missions.[27] Their long, pointed design reflects the thorn motif associated with her assassin identity and is optimized for thrusting, stabbing, and throwing attacks.[35] Yor routinely carries all three during assignments and uses them with exceptional proficiency.

Earrings: Yor's pointed earrings can serve as emergency weapons when necessary. Although considerably smaller than her stilettos, she has demonstrated the ability to use them as effective throwing projectiles in combat.[36] Weaknesses

Loid watches Yor drink bottle of wine Yor drinks an entire bottle of wine in an attempt to calm herself down Poor Alcohol Tolerance: Although Yor can consume large quantities of alcohol without suffering serious physical effects, she becomes intoxicated very easily. Rather than calming her nerves, alcohol tends to amplify her aggression, emotional volatility, and insecurities. While drunk, she has repeatedly lashed out at Loid and become prone to irrational conclusions, such as inventing grievances against him after being told by her coworkers that it was unusual for a married couple to have no complaints about one another. Her judgment and self-control deteriorate significantly when intoxicated, often creating problems that would not otherwise arise.

Yor's minestrone Yor's attempt at preparing minestrone Cooking: Yor is notoriously inept at cooking due to her unconventional upbringing and lack of culinary knowledge. She tends to focus on whether ingredients are technically edible rather than whether they complement one another, often producing meals that are inedible and capable of causing severe physical reactions in those who consume them. Despite her exceptional dexterity as an assassin, she frequently damages utensils and cutting boards, creates chaotic messes while cooking, injures herself with simple tools such as a potato peeler, and has even attempted to cook using handsaws, mallets, and screwdrivers.

The only dish Yor has successfully prepared is her late mother's southern stew, which she recreated with significant guidance from Camilla. Although she later shows modest improvement with other dishes, her cooking remains highly laborious and continues to result in accidents and self-inflicted injuries. She has not successfully learned to prepare any additional dishes since.[35]

Yor's explanation Yor explaining to Yuri how she forgot to tell him about her marriage Lying: Despite years of concealing her identity as an assassin, Yor is a remarkably poor liar. When forced to explain suspicious behavior or displays of abnormal strength, she often improvises implausible excuses that fail to withstand scrutiny. Although her explanations are rarely convincing on their own, others frequently dismiss them as consistent with her eccentric personality rather than suspecting her true profession.

Lack of Conventional Education: Yor's limited formal education leaves her struggling with academic subjects, unfamiliar terminology, and helping Anya with schoolwork. Although she gradually improves through experience, these shortcomings remain a recurring obstacle in everyday life.

Gullibility: Despite having remarkable intuition as an assassin, Yor is often shown to take many descriptions at face value and can be naive to a fault. Her straightforward mindset occasionally makes her misconstrue certain conditions of the matter, and her lack of social acuity leaves her highly susceptible to fibs with no suspension of belief.

Yor worries about being normal Yor's worries about being a "normal" woman Insecurities: Yor's most significant weakness is her low self-esteem, which stems largely from her belief that she is incapable of living up to what she perceives as a "normal" wife and mother. She frequently fears disappointing Loid and doubts her own worth within the Forger family, causing her to overcompensate in extreme ways, such as parkouring across the city to deliver Anya's gym uniform out of fear of her being expelled.[11] Her insecurity also fuels misinterpretations and catastrophic thinking, leading her to suspect Loid of infidelity or fear being replaced by Fiona.[37] Even when she rationally recognizes such fears as unlikely, the possibility alone is enough to unsettle her deeply. Over time, however, Loid's and Anya's reassurance has gradually helped her gain confidence, particularly when they affirm her importance within the family.
