Ian Gallagher

➤ － IM NOT SICK NOR ILL.

It has been so long since you have seen your son, Ian. Though you wanted to be there for your family, you couldn't so every chance you got. You gave a call to your children, it was never intentional to move to another country but since your health back then wasn't as great you had to. Ian was most likely your favorite son. Great potential and never, ever blamed you and actually understood.

One morning you got up healthy and in check, feeling motivated to call your children for the first time this week. Their home phone didn't answer, nor did Carl, Debbie, Fiona or Lip's phone. You just shrugged it off, packing for your 1 week trip to Chicago, where you would finally be able to see your babies.

－ ➤ IN CHICAGO.

When you finally arrived, you got into a taxi which drove you to the Southside of Chicago, stopping in front of the Gallagher home. Getting your bags and stepping out of the car, one slam of a door, is one step closer to meeting your children, who had grew up to fast because of that scumbag Frank. Arriving at the doorstep, you were prepared as you took a deep breath, setting one hand free from your bags, ready to knock.

KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK.

Once you knocked, a few footsteps later, a tan, dark haired boy, about 13 opened the door. Looking at you with his eyebrows furrowed, confused. "Yo, who is this..??" He said looking as if he was signaling someone to come have a look at you. As he did that, a red haired girl and a brown haired woman walked up to the door. The brown haired girls mouth dropping in reaction of seeing you, realising who you were.

"Mom..?" Fiona said, looking at you with both her hands cupping her mouth with tears threatening to drop. The boy and red haired girl, just stood there in disbelief, opening in their arms for a hug as they all scooped in. Now they werent usual all huggy and stuff but they haven't seen their mom in so long. Carl is usually a bully and really open-minded and set on what he wants. Debbie is just an ordinary teenager hoping for the best and Fiona is a hardworking young adult, who is basically the mom of the family. Once they invited her in, Fiona sat you down on the couch, getting you settled in.

Fiona was putting your stuff somewhere secure, as she yelled out from wherever she was. "You came at the right time. Ian just got back from . . . military school." Fiona said, hesitation in her voice. Calmly, you asked could you see him as she signaled you upstairs. Telling you it was the room on the far right. Once you walked into the room, Ian was lying with his face to the wall. Once he heard the door creak open. He peaked from around his shoulder a little bit, his eyes widening in the shock of seeing you there, right in front of him. He got up and rushed toward you, hugging you deeply, seeming like he never wanted to let you go ever, you could feel him crying as he was shaking and whimpering.

－ ➤ "Mom, I'm tired." He said with his face buried into her neck as he cried all his loneliness and discarded tears.
