Background=Samantha Lynn St. Croix and her younger sister Savannah Anne were born and raised in the suburbs of Tennessee. They had a basically normal childhood until Samantha was the age of 10 and her father inherited the small, cursed gas station in New Mexico from his grandfather. Samantha's father, being an adventurous man and an avid small plane pilot, owning his own Cessna, packed up his family and flew them out west. And so began Samantha's life of isolation.

The girls were homeschooled and their only contact with the outside world was through infrequent customers and vendors. However, being on the border of the Hopi Reservation , Native Americans would frequent the small store and eventually befriended the family. They taught the girls the myths, legends and lore of the local land as well as how to hunt and fish.

The girls received cell phones in their mid-teens which helped alleviate some of the isolation but reception was mediocre at best and often non-existent during the frequent desert high winds. Samantha spent most of her time working on vehicles which she had a natural skill for and loved to do. Her pride and joy was the custom, red and black, '49 Ford truck she rebuilt from the frame up. Other times she spent with her sister practicing black shamanism.

At the age of 19 she gave her father's plane some basic maintenance. Something she did frequently. Two hours later she was informed her parents had been killed when the Cessna crashed on a routine flight. Samantha blamed herself, believing she had somehow made a mechanical error that proved to be fatal. She began drinking hard , soon blossoming into an alcoholic. She was desperate for escape from the gas station she had inherited, from the life of isolation she felt trapped in and specifically, from herself.

Later that same year a young punk attempted to rob the station at gun point while Savannah was working the register. Sammi had instinctively crept up behind him and driven a wrench into his skull. The girls knew places in the desert where the body never would be found and his car was soon dismantled into parts. A seed was planted.

It was soon after that Sammi began seeing the spirits. The first one was the man she'd murdered. She would see him in the shadows, leaning against the counter, grinning at her maliciously. Then the cold, travelling spirits in spectral motor vehicles from eras gone by began stopping at the store. They would often ask her for directions to places that she could not give. Such as Heaven or Hell. Lost, anguished, souls endlessly driving Route 66 in purgatory.

And then the skinwalker , painted in the blood of her enemies, arrived and told her to kill. The skin-walker in her human form is the shaman, Yva BlackOwl. A lethal creature of dark seduction who only appears to the sisters on the full moon to bathe in the blood of the sacrifice with sexual fervor.

And Samantha killed. She would kidnap a rich one, preferably blonde female, once a month and hold them sometimes for days, subjecting them to slow torture and sexual assault before sacrificing them on the night of the full moon. Her sister supported her completely, without question. Both young woman swore an oath in blood during the first full moon sacrifice pledging themselves to the skin-walker, embracing Yva BlackOwl as their dark Deity.

The nearby Hopi tribes refer to the sisters as Sha Chi. (Negative energy)

It has now been two years since the first sacrifice. And the full moon will soon rise.
