Jack is a tall young man with light-brown skin, defined muscles, and a stature considerably larger than his peers, especially other students his age. He has short, fluffy hair that spikes upwards, and a prominent tuft of hair falling between his eyes. His hair is a light silver color, and the hair closer to his neck fades into a darker gray. He has thicker-than-average eyebrows that match his hair color, and golden-brown eyes.

Instead of human ears, Jack has large, silver wolf ears on the top of his head with dark-gray tips. This is paired with a large, fluffy wolf tail of the same color that also fades into dark-gray at the end. When he shows his teeth, sharp fangs are usually visible. He often has a serious look on his face.

Dorm Uniform

Jack’s uniform is similar to the rest of the Savanaclaw students. It consists of a sleeveless, dark-yellow shirt, a black leather vest, worn-out jeans, thick beaded jewelry, and an orange-yellow bandana with black trim and the symbol of Savanaclaw printed on it.

The shirt has a deep y-neck, and a black, geometric pattern on the trim; Jack has his shirt neatly tucked underneath his jeans. The leather vest has a design reminiscent of a “double-rider” biker jacket, with silver buttons and zippers. The jeans are a cool gray with visible creases. Over his jeans are black leather biker boots. He also wears black short-length gloves.

Jack has his orange-yellow bandana wrapped around his waist and tied together with two silver rings on his left side. Hanging from the silver rings is a brown leather tassel, with one string of beads and a sharp white fang connected to it.

The uniform includes a variety of jewelry, made up of thick beads that are gold, red, blue, and green. Jack wears two low-hanging necklaces with this pattern of beads over his shirt. He also has a thin brown choker around his neck, with a white fang pendant hanging from it. Personality

At first, Jack seems rather cold and distant, not relying on the help of others and claiming to be able to handle things alone. Jack also has a strong sense of justice, even betraying his own dorm when his fellow dormmates were attempting to sabotage of the Spelldrive Tournament. As the story progresses, Jack has been shown to care for those he considers his friends, even though he'll often give a different reason to his actions. Once someone earns Jack's respect, he'll do anything within his capabilities to earn that person's respect back, and also help them in any way he can.[3] He's also rather intelligent and observant, being able to guess Azul's real form in the water just by Leona's nickname "cephalo-punk" for Azul and knew what Floyd's signature spell does when he and the others got attacked by the Leech brothers. Jack's signature spell is called "Unleash the Beast!" His admiration for his maternal grandfather, who possessed a reversion signature spell, inspired him to develop his own. It allows him to transform into a huge, white wolf and is classified as a reverse signature spell, as it manifests atavism of his wolf ancestry. [4]

Jack retains his sentience in this form, while his senses sharpen greatly, especially his sense of smell. He is also able to run much faster and jump about 10 meters high. However, using this form will drain Jack's magic reserves, and stronger scents such as cologne will disorient him. Furthermore, he must remain constantly focused; otherwise, he risks reverting to his original form without warning.[2]

This ability is recognized as a highly complex and prestigious spell, as transforming into another creature without the help of a potion requires an extremely elevated level of magic.[5][6] Trivia

Jack seemingly has no correlation to any character from the Lion King franchise. His depiction characterizes him as having a wolf-like personality, yet no wolves or canines with white fur exist in the Lion King franchise. However, it could still be inspired by the wolves from The Jungle Book. He also seems to be inspired by the pack of wolves from Beauty And the Beast. A third option is Jack being inspired by the depictions of the "Big Bad Wolf." He may be named after Jack London, author of the novel White Fang, about a wild white wolfdog. Walt Disney Pictures produced a film based on the novel, although it was live-action rather than animated. He has a younger brother and sister that are also sporty like him (ages 11 and 7 respectively). He also mentioned that they're able to play tag for 6 hours straight without getting tired.[7] This could reflect how wolf pups first learn how to hunt by playing. It could also reflect how wolves are some of the animals known for their stamina. Whenever Jack is happy about something, his tail wags. Jack comes from an area with a great deal of snow. As such, he enjoys several winter sports, including skiiing and ice skating. In one of his birthday vignettes, he has mentioned that his sister has yet to try skiing; Jack worries she will have trouble hiking up the mountain with all the ski equipment. If Jack had to switch dorms, he would choose Diasomnia, due to their reputation for being the best in all subjects; Jack would seek to be the best as well. However, he personally feels Savanaclaw is already the best fit for him, and wouldn't be inclined to swap. He manifested his magical abilities at a standard age, specifically between nine and ten years old.[2] His name, Jack, and Savanaclaw being based on the Lion King franshise has made some people think he was based on the jackals from the Lion Guard until they revealed his animal half is a wolf.
