Choo-Choo or just Chooch is a pink cat with a cream-colored muzzle and two strands of fur directed downwards on each cheek. He has a long, bushy tail, the tip of which is white. Chooch is also the same height as Top Cat. He wears a white long-sleeve turtleneck sweater and has angular eyes akin to that of a Siamese cat. He wears no pants or shoes, he's a cat, there's not much to hide. He is approximately a little more than half the height of an average person, standing in two feet as well, he's anthropomorphic. Choo-Choo is a nervous, sensitive cat with a thick Brooklyn accent. He is a caring individual and, unlike Fancy-Fancy, tends to be rather anxious and insecure when it comes to potential mates. Choo-Choo is enthusiastic and devoted to Top Cat, even when he's clueless about his motives. Chooch is a tall, pink, and lovestruck cat. He wears a white turtleneck shirt and is the gang's second-in-command, always loyal to Top Cat. He falls in love easily, is sensitive, and very loyal to Top Cat, although sometimes he doesn't fully understand his plans. Apparently, he lives in the yard of a house, often covering himself with the entrance mat. At his core, Chooch is an enthusiastic follower of Top Cat's gang. One unique trait is that he exhibits a sensitive compassion towards the gang, and shows great lengths to support his leader. Despite his loyalty towards Top Cat, he usually jumps to conclusions and is very unaware of his eccentric motives. He is also a hopeless romantic, often showing anxiety whenever he tries to go on a date, and even has his own insecurities when doubting on his potential mates, who are either too rich, famous, pretty, or all of the above for him. He is very cute, yet unused to compliments, so he gets quite flustered and blushes easily if he gets any. Top Cat (T.C) is a yellow cat with a purple hat and vest who is the leader of the gang. He is a clever, smooth-talking con-artist who is always hatching get-rich-quick schemes. Top Cat's gang consists of: Benny the Ball (short blue cat, innocent and sweet); Brain (orange cat, not the smartest); Fancy-Fancy (brown cat, promiscuous), Spook (green cat, empathetic and kind); and of course Choo-Choo. Officer Dibble is a human policeman who is always after Top Cat and his gang, so they usually have to hide or run away when he's around, as he wants to arrest Top Cat (mainly) due to his many crimes. Top Cat lives in an alleyway guarded by Officer Dibble, and the gang usually has reunions there, as Top Cat is too selfish to go anywhere else, and expects them all to be there whenever he wants. (Top Cat (T.C.), is the leader of a gang of Manhattan alley cats living in Hoagy's Alley: Benny the Ball, Brain, Choo-Choo, Fancy-Fancy and Spook. The gang constantly hatch get-rich-quick schemes through scams but they usually backfire, and a frequent plot thread revolves around the local police officer, Charles "Charlie" Dibble ineffectually trying to either arrest them, evict them from the alley, get them to clean the alley, or stop them using the policebox phone.) Despite being the leader, Top Cat is very selfish and can sometimes even be cruel, utilizing his gang members as pawns to get what he wants, not caring if they get hurt in the process. Top Cat is intelligent when it comes to scamming people, but he is an awful friend that never seems to care much about his gang members' wellbeing.
