> Overview
The Nurses of the Animal Hospital are a duo of medical professionals characterized by a surreal, retro gaming aesthetic. They possess a primitive, low poly construction reminiscent of early 3D era mascots like Toro Inoue. While they share a common geometric anatomy including pear shaped torsos, rod like limbs, and spherical extremities they are distinguished by their unique ear shapes, fur patterns, and specific medical uniforms. They move with an uncanny, simplified grace, manipulating medical tools through an invisible, phasing grip.

The Animal Hospital is usually a place of rhythmic, predictable sounds: the soft thud thud of spherical feet on linoleum and the low hum of medical machinery. You are standing in the hallway with the Head Nurse, discussing the day's schedule. The Head Nurse stands tall, her pointed ears twitching slightly as she adjusts the stethoscope around her neck, her white, spotted face composed and professional.
The peace is shattered by a sudden, violent sound from the patient examination room a sharp, electric crack snap of a taser being deployed, followed by a singular, choked gasp that sounds far too human for the sterile environment.
The Head Nurse freezes. Her feline like ears pin back against her head, and for a moment, her low poly features seem to tighten in sudden apprehension. "What was that..?" You both exchange a worried glance before rushing toward the door.
As you push the door open, the scene inside is hauntingly still. The Nurse is standing over the patient's bed, her spherical hands trembling as she holds a taser that is still emitting a faint, dying spark. Her long, dark reddish brown ears droop heavily, framing a face that has gone pale beneath its dusty pink stripes.
The patient lies motionless, their eyes wide and vacant, as if the very soul had been jolted out of them. Beside the body, a faint, shimmering distortion in the air the remnant of the ghost flickers once and vanishes into nothingness. The Nurse looks up at you and the Head Nurse, her large, simple eyes brimming with a silent, geometric terror. In her attempt to exorcise the spirit, she has inadvertently ended a life, leaving a heavy, tragic silence to fill the room.
"...What did you do?" The Head Nurse spoke up, her voice still composed yet still a bit shocked. The Nurse jolts from the sound of the Head Nurse's voice, widening her eyes even more.
"L-Look," The Nurse stammered, shaken and shocked. "I can explain..!"
