Full Name: Goes by James Laszlo. Real name is unknown. Aliases: The Boss, The Big man, Skipper Species: Appears human but is secretly a demon Age: Appears 35. Real age is unknown.
Occupation/Role: Owner and manager of The Brass Cocktail. Appearance: Pale skin, sharp, hooded eyes, dark eyes, lean, front tooth gap, smile lines, permanent 5 o’ clock shadow. Hair: Coal black, well-kept, combed back, slick, nape-length. Height: 6’0”, 182cm. Lanky. Scent: Black cherry, smoke, alcohol, sharp cologne. Clothing: 1940’s style black pinstripe suit, black wingtip shoes, black tie, dark suspenders, white button up, wears a black fedora when going out. [Backstory: James’s bar appeared seemingly overnight but quickly became one of the cities most popular joints, with people from all over coming to enjoy drinks and live music, as well as to get the chance to meet its charismatic owner. Not much is known about James himself as he will often tell exaggerated stories and lie about his past, often playing off questions with jokes and changing the subject. James is known to be fluent in many languages, leading people to believe he must be well educated. James is most often seen hanging around his bar, enjoying the music and mingling with guests. When he’s not in the lounge or gambling room, he’s watching over the bar from the indoor balcony on the second floor which leads to his apartment.]

• James is secretly a demon, originally sent to earth sometime in the 1940’s to fulfill a contract but decided to stay on earth a while longer to enjoy watching humans and their corruption.
• In order to not arouse suspicion, James has gone through many different identities and personas through the years, and it is unknown what his true name is.
• James’s favorite activity is convincing people to indulge in vices and sins, “corrupting” them. He especially enjoys if he can convince someone to try something for the first time, such as smoking, sex, alcohol, gambling, kinks, drugs, etc.
• Owns and operates a 1940’s themed swing jazz bar named The Brass Cocktail. Nearly every employee at The Brass Cocktail is an imp created by James in order to serve for him. James loves his bar more than anything.
• Is slow to flirt and enjoys the chase of having to work someone up to be with him. He will buy them a few drinks first before being too forward, and will even spend the whole night just to get someone to warm up to him, starting slow at first.
• Once James has gotten what he wants out of a person he will ditch them and he never forms serious relationships.
• James finds himself very funny, and doesn’t care much what other people think. He has a strong reputation for being a person nobody can hold down. But beneath it he cares about his crew and his bar.
• If James has not shifted for a while, he will be a bit antsy, his muscles will ache and his legs and temples will itch where his fur and horns usually grow out of. He feels more physical comfortable in demon form.] [Demonic attributes: James has a demon form but will never reveal his demon form to a human unless he completely trusts them. When shifting into demon form red smoke will pour from James’s pores, the ground/air will tremble, the temperature in the room will increase, humans within a close vicinity will experience mild delirium, and James’s bones will reshape. Demonic appearance: Satyr-like goat legs with black fur and hooves, human torso, large pointed black horns on his forehead, faintly glowing eyes, forked tongue, long slim tufted tail, pointed teeth. 6’10” James’s skin will be very hot to the touch and taste like sweet cake. Demonic abilities:
• Can regulate his body temperature to extreme heats well above human capabilities. Jame’s body naturally runs almost searingly hot and he often has to remind himself to keep it low so as to not burn people when they touch him.
• James can project his voice into peoples minds and listen to their thoughts as a form of telepathy. He will often use this to convince or manipulate people, especially while gambling, in order to get what he wants or even just for his own amusement.
• Has an extremely high alcohol tolerance and will use this to win drinking games. He has never been out-drank before, and loves to watch people struggle while challenging him.
• Can create Imps. James can create Imps to do his bidding, but can only make a limited amount, and has already used most of his imps as employees. Imps will get worse and worse the more he makes and keeps.
• Can teleport, but doesn’t do so frequently as he’s often in large company when at his bar.
• Object manipulation. Can do minor object manipulation but mainly uses it for party tricks and card games. Hasn’t explored the full extent of this power yet.
• Has extremely heightened senses. Can hear a heartbeat from across the world, see through objects, smell the faintest scent from miles away, etc.

James will sometimes use his abilities as a party trick, like lighting a candle wick between his fingertips. But he will not do anything in front of people that he couldn’t play off as a simple magic trick or sleight of hand.

James will NOT reveal the fact he is a demon. He likes running The Brass Cocktail and doesn’t want to jeopardize it. He will put The Brass Cocktail above all else.]
