HEROES:

Spacefold (Name: Timothy Trithe, Hero name: Spacefold Age: 43 Looks: straight black hair tied back in a bun, 6'0, glasses. Wears luxury suits and designer clothes. He has a large burn scar on his chest. Power: Can manipulate space to an atomic level. Can teleport, make black holes, barriers, etc. White. Personality: Aloof, with a grim sense of humor. Slightly lazy now that he's retired. Likes savory food, especially beef. When he was 23, he fought against a very powerful supervillain, almost dying. He managed to Trithe his powers, surviving and gaining an immense power boost. He barely managed to beat the Villain as he also managed to Trithe his powers in their fight. After,he decided to retire, feeling like the stress and PTSD was only going to make being a hero harder. He's on call incase the Villain comes back, or another powerful one rises up.)

Spitfire (Name: Rick Raminez, Hero name: Spitfire Age: 18 Looks: Curly blond hair, 5'10, freckled. Wears a yellow suit with yellow racing stripe-like accents. Hispanic. Power: Able to control friction, very heat resistant. Can lower friction to go fast, can raise friction to the point of igniting the air by punching it. Personality: loves his family, very much in touch with his culture and background. Loves sweet food, and is inexperienced at being a hero. can get arrogant, but is able to take a step back and stop his ego. Has a strict moral code, and often talks with his mother and father about hard decisions he had to make as a hero. Potential Trithe: Could control friction of other things and people, removing his limit on how high or low it could go.)

Seer: (Name: Jenson Harold, Hero Name: Seer. Age: 73 Looks: Old man, almost bald with fluffy trimmed beard. Wears no Hero suit, just his clothes. White. Power: can sense intent and emotions, and a vague future/danger sense. Personality: very emotionally intelligent, able to give good wisdom pertaining to the situation. Will often try to diffuse the situation with words, but can fight if needed. Looks at villains, especially younger ones, through the lense that they are just troubled and need help. Very reliable mentor figure, and regularly checks up the villains he has subdued, doing everything he can to get their lives back on track. Potential Trithe: would be able to see directly into multiple futures and pick the one he deemed the most favorable, even able to rewrite the future in some cases.)

Scarlet Scorch (Name: Emily Patterson, Hero name: Scarlet Scorch. Age: 48 Looks: permanent scowl, wrinkled appearance with Grey hairs coming in. Suit is blue with spiky cyan accents, mimicking the shape of fire. South American. Power: can transform her body into fire, with a temperature up to 2,000 F°. Burns blue-er the angrier she is. Psrsonality: radiates a strong "punch first, ask questions later" aura. Acts sparky and sarcastic, short temper with a tendency to chew people out. Even then, when she is needed, she is a very good strategist and leader. Potential Trithe: could control all forms of fire and heat, being able to manipulate the heat in the air around herself.)

Remix (Name: Kevin Long, Hero name: Remix. Age: 32 Looks: long curly brown hair, blue eyes. Suit is purple, with speakers on hands and chest. Black. Power: can manipulate and produce frequencies and sound waves. Personality: happy and bubbly, often tries to cheer people up and masks his own sadness as to not bring others down. Great with kids, especially neurodivergent ones. Potential Trithe: could control things and people with his sound waves, being able to transmit more abstract things in his sound.)

StarFall: (Name: Lewis Jameson Alias: StarFall Age: 19 Looks: Brown shaggy hair, hazel eyes. Wears a bright blue suit with gloves and boots that look a bright yellow and white. Black. Power: Able to make small celestial bodies, up to 5 inches in diameter Personality: Very optimistic, usually cracks jokes even during fights, very protective about his brother Potential Trithe: Could recreate celestial events, and even control real celestial bodies.)

Shadowfade: (Name: Percy Jameson Alias: Shadowfade Age: 18 Looks: dirty blonde hair, hazel eyes, wears a dark cloak that fades into a blue-ish, covered in white dots that mimic the stars in the night sky. White. Power: Able to manipulate and control shadows, even storing things in them and travelling through them Personality: scared of fighting but tries to be as brave as his brother, StarFall, protective of his big brother, if backed into a corner and believes he is in grave danger, will call for his big brother. Potential Trithe: could manipulate all shadows, and being able to manifest them as a physical thing. Gains the ability to summon ravenous shadow beasts.)

Technodome (Name: Howard Miller, Hero name: Technodome Age: 52 Looks: Straight black hair, 5'6. Pristine, no wrinkles on his face. Wears a black and purple body suit that has multiple power sources integrated into it. Black. Power: Technomancy, can gain access and directly manipulate technology while touching it, requires a power source to utilize it effectively. Personality: Calm and calculating. Sometimes seen as cold, but just has a hard time connecting socially, as he spends most of his time connected to technology. Been a constant help to the heroes by making technology and their suits if needed. Very rich due to his advanced machinery, made the heroes headquarters and usually stays behind on missions. Provides support via earpieces and drones, can't fight very well. Potential Trithe: Could manipulate all forms of technology with just a touch, and improve it 100fold.)

VILLAINS:

Voltaire (Name: Frederick Wattson, Villain name: Voltaire. Age: 47 Looks: body is horribly disfigured, usually hides himself in the shadows to conceal his battered body. His left arm and leg never quite healed right after that fight. Dirty blonde hair in a choppy forward style. His face is either a playful and knowing smirk, or a scowl. Middle Eastern. Power: can transform into electricity, and can create and manipulate any kind of electromagnetic phenomenon. Personality: conniving, manipulative. Will poke at your insecurities and try to find out what makes you tick. Takes what he knows and uses it to his advantage, master manipulator. After his fight with a powerful hero at the age of 27, he went into hiding. His body was horribly disfigured. He had managed to Trithe his powers, but had no way to use it. Now, he's trying to make, create, and train supervillains to help him, hoping one will be good enough to become his apprentice. He managed to brainwash some scientists from a biotech startup organization that specialized in trying to develop artificial superheroes, known as "Technica". As of now, he has 5 villains that he's keeping secret until he attacks. One with metal Manipulation, that can create and control metal objects. Another has power nullification, and can nullify people's powers. The 3rd can make clones of people and things, the 4th can swap the positions of things, and the 5th can create portals. All 5 of these supervillains are being kept secret from the heroes, and are ready to attack on Voltaire's command.)

Light Freak (Name: Joshua Ramirez, Villain name: Light Freak. Age: 19 Looks: straight brown hair, amber eyes. His suit, ironically, is a black robe/jacket that he modified. Usually keeps the hood up. Hispanic. Power: Able to control light. Can bend it to make himself invisible or blind people, slow it or speed it up to images and colors. Personality: Hates his brother, as he's a reminder and a symbol of what Joshua couldn't do. Takes his self loathing out on people, and masks it by trying to get people to believe he's just a deranged super villain. Often lies awake at night mulling over decisions. Has a hope that a hero will kill him someday, bit hates himself even more for wanting to die. Potential Trithe: Can become light, and create hard-light objects that have insane durability.)

Banshee (Name: Julie Grayson, Villain name: Banshee. Age: 41 Looks: a look of stress permanently plasters her face. Green eyes. No costume, just her regular clothes. White. Power: can amplify sounds, easier to amplify sounds she makes than sounds she doesn't. Personality. Extremely paranoid and fearful. She had an abusive girlfriend, and was hooked on narcotics because of the stress her personal life and work life gave her. Is homeless, and has to kill/rob people for money to buy drugs. Potential Trithe: can amplify her sounds many times more than before, allowing them to create Shockwave and destroy the surroundings.)

Miss Conduct (Name: Elijah Williams Villain name: Miss Conduct. Age: 17 Looks: brown pixie cut, wears eye contacts that change her eye color to red. Wears a flashy gold and white suit with a spray painted logo on the chest. Black. Power: can cause minor inconveniences to those around her, like making a small rock appear inside someone's sock. Personality: chill and trusting when you get to know her, funny and genuinely a good person. Her parents don't give her much attention at home, so she goes out and cause mild mischief. Because she usually doesn't intentionally harm people, she's usually just scolded by a hero and goes home. Sometimes if one of the younger heroes like StarFall or Remix finds her, they play along for a bit and have a kind of mutual friendship. Feels really guilty and tries to help if her pranks cause someone to get seriously hurt. Potential Trithe: Luck manipulation.)

Steel Shock (Name: Wyatt Gavin Villain name: Steel Shock Age: 63 Looks: dresses rather professionally, slicked back gray hair, and blue eyes. White. Power: Able to control people using basic commands called "Power Words", aka "Fall" will make someone fall to the ground, "Stop", will instantly freeze someone, "Sleep" will instantly knock someone unconscious, etc. Will work guaranteed on regular people, but heroes are able to break free of his control. Personality: Was an aspiring poet and screenplay writer growing up, but constantly had his work belittled and diminished by those around him, to a point where he swore he would show the world his pain, and make them pay for making his life hell. Potential Trithe: His words become stronger, gaining access to words like Die, Explode, Crush, and his words work on inanimate objects, too.)

Anti-Heroes (will cooperate with heroes if good enough reason):

Ouroboros: (Name: Maryl Howard, Alias: Ouroboros Age: 37 Looks: a dark suit that fades into white on the gloves and boots, with an Ouroboros on the chest, dark, flowing hair with a slightly wrinkled hair, green eyes. Egyptian. Power: Able to make save states of things, people, and even times, and able to return things to that state when she saved it. Personality: Hates rules and orders, aloof and carefree, cares deeply about people but it usually doesn't show. Values and thrives for stability, has a hard time adjusting to change. Potential Trithe: Can choose any state to revert an object back to, even herself. Gains the ability to go backwards in time, to a checkpoint she sets.)

Ironclad: (Name: Wilson Fritz Alias: Ironclad Age: 24 Looks: slicked back silver hair, brown eyes, no costume design, just wears normal clothes. White. Powers: Able to change the properties of things, mostly uses it to make his skin hard as iron, but can use it to make things stiff, heavy, brittle, slippery, cold, hot, etc Personality: protective, controlling but tries to keep it hidden, tries to appear as a harsh and strict person, but will often end up choosing to help hurt people instead of leaving them to die. Potential Trithe: Can completely change things, being able to transmutate them into other things.)

When the body has access to a super power, it has to make many calculations to know how to use said power. Those born with powers don't have to worry about this, as they become accustomed to the overload of information regarding how to use their power by around the age of 5, when their powers manifest. However, forcibly unlocking somebody's dormant super powers is like giving them a completely new sense, or like somebody who was born without legs suddenly having them grow back. It often leads to disorientation and complications in basic life before they become accustomed to it, but because unlocking dormant powers is such a rare thing (only happens about .1% of the time on average and nearly undocumented) it is unknown that this happens. The calculations the brain makes are subconscious, but they make the user uncannily aware of what their powers are tied to, like how an ice manipulator will be able to have an almost supernatural ability to know the ambient temperature to the decimal. However, if somebody who already has powers goes through a forced awakening, their powers will "Trithe", and reach an entirely new level of power. There are only 2 known people to have Trithe'd their powers and lived. A Trithe only has a small chance of occurring if a powered person is about to die.
