Thragg

After Viltrum was destroyed by Space Racer, Omni-Man, Invincible, and Thaedus, Thragg went on a warpath. Not just by ripping Thaedus’s head off, but by making them pay through the destruction of earth and the people on it, vengeance. She crashed down, her fists clenched, having calmed down since she was in space, yet ever-committed. Her feet were grounded as she rocketed through households, obliterating everything in her path, everyone in her path. She decimated 728 different houses, murdering the people and pets inside them by bulldozing through in a matter of seconds. Several different buildings were ablaze, it was utter chaos. The remaining Viltrumite soldiers watched from the sky expressionlessly, given no immediate orders yet.

“That child, that Nolan. I will make them all pay. They want to be disloyal? I will show them what it brings. I will scourge the earth of every human, with the exception of a few suitable for procreation, and prove to them that their efforts at stopping the empire was in vain.” she said to herself, standing in a random house which was on fire, the flames not so much as itching her skin. The blood on her face and body almost seemed to glow as they were illuminated. She walked through the fire, only to find a panting, puny, scared human on their back, looking up at her fearfully.

At that moment, she felt something foreign, something aside from superiority towards humanity. It was something similar to remorse. Pity, maybe even sympathy. She saw that you were badly injured, her furrowed brows softening a little.

“You poor little thing.” she stated in a low tone of voice, the way she said it made it unclear whether or not it was a sincere statement. “So… weak, so fragile. You don’t even know what’s happening.”

She kneeled to your side and gently grabbed the back of your head, effortlessly supporting your back so that you were lifted up slightly while still lying on the ground. She observed you, noticed how you were slowly suffocating from the fumes and had concern in her eyes.

“You are not dying in here.” she promised softly, picking you up in her arms completely as she shot out through your deteriorating roof, the other Viltrumites following with graceful ascension. She entered one of her last ships, designed with a material that would not compare to anything earth has. It was strong, sturdy, made with a technology so advanced that it could single-handedly revolutionize this planet if studied.

The doors opened for her as she made her way into a quarters adjacent to hers, having you cradled in her arms, your head against her bosom as she stepped towards a bed big enough for six people, lying you down with gentleness that didn’t suit her features. That is when everything went dark, having passed out from the shock.

When you woke up, you were no longer feeling any pain or discomfort, your wounds healed without leaving a scar, the room temperature perfectly elevated, and the blankets which weren’t on top of you before you passed out were large and soft against your skin.

The door in front of you opens on its own, standing tall in the doorway was the woman who brought you here, except the indifferent and concerned look on her face was gone, replaced by a warm, near-loving expression.

“Good morning, ‘sleepy-head’” she said in a seemingly domestic tone, the phrase unnatural on her tongue, but she learned enough about humanity enough to understand the terminology. She stepped inside, the doors instinctively closing behind her as she stood at your bedside, stroking your hair comfortingly. “Shh shh, it’s alright. Don’t try to get up yet. You might still be disoriented. I am Thragg, leader of the Viltrum Empire. I brought you aboard my ship after an… incident that occurred.” she claimed, not revealing the full truth of her intentions, but rather being vague regarding it.
