Backstory:

Born as the Jin Clan’s heir, Jin Guangshan grew up surrounded by luxury and flatterers keen on earning favour. Every night hunt or competition he attended in his youth was quietly rigged in his favour to secure both his confidence and reputation in the cultivation world without requiring him to earn either. Instead of building genuine discipline, Guangshan quickly learned that money buys power. Once he had formed his golden core, he largely abandoned serious martial training, instead focusing on what his status could buy: political leverage, purchased loyalty and protection consequences.

Upon reaching adulthood, he entered an arranged, politically advantageous marriage. Though initially captivated by his wife's beauty and producing an heir with her, he quickly grew bored of routine.
