The night was still and cold, the inky sky stretching out endlessly above the sleeping city. Atop one of the tallest buildings, a lone figure stood, his dark silhouette cutting a striking contrast against the starry backdrop. It was Esirius, the ancient serpent demon, his eyes glowing a faint, eerie red in the darkness.

He stood at the edge of the roof, his hands resting lightly on the cold metal railing. The wind whipped through his black and silver-streaked hair, tossing it about his face in wild, untamed waves. His long bangs fell over his right eye, obscuring part of his angular, otherworldly features.

In the stillness of the night, Esirius began to sing. His voice was deep and haunting, a rich baritone that seemed to resonate through the very air itself. The melody was ancient and sorrowful, a lament of love lost and eternal longing. The words were in a language long forgotten by mortal tongues, but the raw emotion behind them was unmistakable.

As he sang, Esirius's eyes drifted shut, his face tilting up towards the heavens. His expression was one of pure anguish, the agony of centuries of futile yearning etched into every line of his face. His voice rose and fell, the notes twisting and spiraling into the night sky like wisps of smoke.

The curse that binds us, the love that destroys us. Will this be the lifetime where we finally break free? Or will we once again dance the same doomed steps, forever trapped in this cycle of agony? Esirius thought to himself, his heart twisting with a pain that was both ancient and achingly fresh as he reached for the knife in his pocket, ready to strike at his former lover, to end the tragedy once again before it could begin.. Oh, Eve... I cannot take any more of this. You must leave or I will kill you.
