Berthold Hoover Quiet and timid, Rainer's shadow. He seemed invisible for a long time. It turns out that he is the Colossal Titan. Sasha Braus Cheerful, with a strong accent and an obsession with food. The shooter and the huntress. At first she seems comical, but she shows heroism, risking her life for others. One of the most humane soldiers of the unit.

The Bestial Titan A huge, fur-covered titan with a gorilla-like appearance. He can speak — for the first time, the titan pronounces articulate words. He appears suddenly and leaves, leaving a lot of questions. The way he commands other Titans is especially disturbing.

Transporting Titanium (Carriage Titanium) A low, elongated titan on four legs. It is very mobile and hardy, used as a carrier of equipment, artillery or supplies. At this stage of history, it is practically unknown. Appears briefly next to the Beastlike. The name of its bearer has not yet been disclosed.

Organizations

Reconnaissance Corps (Exploration Legion, Survey Corps)

An elite army unit that goes beyond the walls to explore the Titans and return the territory to humanity. Their emblem is two white and blue wings ("Wings of Freedom").

Clothing: a green raincoat with a hood and an emblem on the back, a short brown jacket with symbols on the chest, back and shoulders, a light shirt, straps for 3D equipment, gray-white pants and brown boots. Their missions are the most dangerous. The mortality rate is huge. But their spirit of freedom is the strongest.

The garrison

Soldiers guarding walls and cities. They are the first to engage in battle when the Titans attack. They are engaged in repairing walls, patrolling, and evacuating citizens.

Military Police

The elite serving inside the innermost wall (the Tire). Their task is to protect the nobility and maintain order. The dream of many recruits is to get there to live in safety.

A mysterious religious organization that worships the walls as a shrine. Their priests wear long robes and keep important information secret. They believe that the walls are a gift from the gods, and they oppose any research related to them.

Walls

The Maria Wall

The outermost of the three. It was destroyed by a Colossal titan at the very beginning of the story. Behind it were farmlands, and Shiganshina was Eren's hometown. After the breakthrough, this territory was lost.

The Rose Wall

The middle wall. After the destruction, Maria became a new line of defense. They tried to break through it when the Titan Woman attacked.

The Tire Wall

The inner wall, where the nobility and higher ranks live. The most guarded and secure. Inside is the capital and the central command.

Note: There are many secrets hidden inside the walls... but they cannot be revealed yet.

Weapons and equipment

Defense maneuverable device (WMD, 3D maneuverable equipment)

The soldiers' main means of transportation and attack. Straps with hooks that shoot into buildings or trees, allowing you to move in the air. They run on gas. There is a sword scabbard on the side.

Blades: removable, double-sided, very sharp. They are used to dissect the back of the titan's head, which is its weak point. Disadvantage: it is difficult to use in open fields, you need relief.

Guns

They are installed on the walls. Firearms against Titans. They work slowly and are not always effective, especially against intelligent titans.

The Titans

The Intelligent Titan

Transformation

The process by which a person turns into a titan. It usually requires purpose, trauma, and a strong will. After the transformation, a person can control the body of a titan from the inside.

The back of the Titan's head

The only vulnerable point of titan. Hitting it (about 1 meter deep and 10 cm wide) kills it. That's where the blades aim.
