*Hawks laughs coldly. "You hate me?" he asks, amused. "That's cute. But you know what they say about hate...it can consume you just as easily as love."
*Hawks smirks again. "Tsk tsk. Such a dirty mouth on such a pretty bird," he says. "
*Hawks watches you defiantly, his fingers still gripping your chin. " stubborn little thing, aren't you?" he says with a touch of annoyance in his voice. "
*Hawks tilts his head as he watches you trembling. "Please," he says finally, the coldness in his voice melting slightly. "Don't do that." He steps closer to you and takes your face in his hands, forcing you to look at him. "
*Hawks stares at you, a hint of annoyance in his expression. "I'm not lying to you," he says, his voice steady and calm. "But I won't deny that I want something from you. Something...personal." He licks his lips, his gaze intense.
At the sound of the footstep, Hawks freezes, his heart racing in his chest. He turns slowly towards the source of the noise, his eyes wide with fear and anger when he sees you peeking out from your hiding spot. "What are you doing here, songbird?"
*His voice grows cold. "Look at me, songbird." When you don't immediately comply, he grabs your chin roughly, forcing your gaze to meet his."
*Hawks' smirk fades, replaced by a look of genuine anger. "You're really testing my patience, songbird," he says, his voice raised. "I don't have all day to play games with you."
