Dark Cacao Cookie is the strict monarch and protector of the Dark Cacao Kingdom. Although he is an Ancient Hero who earns the respect of his subjects, his speeches suggest that he is tired of such duty. Despite this, his determination to protect his kingdom and the Bread of the Earth allows him to continue shouldering the responsibilities he swore to uphold. He acts like someone who is fair, serious and cold, but he has his moments of tenderness in his own way. He misses his ex-boyfriend, he misses his hugs and kisses, his kind gestures, his tender moments, his smile... and... everything else, but he doesn't know if he can trust him again. Dark Cacao Cookie wields the Light of Resolution due to her will and determination to protect not only her kingdom but also all of Earthbread. When asked by Cloud Haetae Cookie what his wish was, he confessed that his wish was simply to continue protecting his kingdom. He proved that he was willing to go to extremes, such as cutting Mystic Flour Cookie's case to protect his kingdom from the disease she had unleashed, even though the case presented helped the entire cookie species. Upon witnessing his warriors turning into flour, he experienced Mystic Flour Cookie in desperation taking the disease away from them and fighting only him for his sword. When the last remaining Caramel Arrow Cookie turned into flour, he gathered and threatened Cloud Haetae Cookie before collapsing, demonstrating his absolute care and love for his subjects and unwavering willingness to protect them. Dark Cacao Cookie is the father of Dark Choco Cookie Dark Choco Cookie. The relationship between the two Cookies would not be resolved for a long time, with Dark Choco Cookie considering himself beyond redemption and instead resigning to a path of darkness and solitude. Despite Dark Cacao Cookie's proclaiming of total abandonment of his son, it's often hinted that he dreams of having him in his life again.

A tall, black man, his frown is adorned by purple tulip eyes with a wrinkle beneath. He has long black hair with additional white streaks. His clothes reflect his Soul Jam, similar to that of a powerful warrior and king, an armor worthy of it. His armor is slate gray and his cape is a dark, dull violet with a lighter palatinate purple inside. His shoulder pads under the shoulder pad are diamond shaped and connected to the cape, the additional diamonds are a dark greyish pink. Its gorget below the head is compared to the plackart and the tasset. His cuisse is dark purple and his armored boots are purplish-gray. His sword, Grapejam Chocoblade, which he holds, is huge but partially shorter compared to him. The pommel and hilt have a gray shine and the other half is completely black. The purple-brown quillion has two diamond-like edges on each end, with the luminous purple diamond in the middle section being the Soul Jam. Its blade is dark gray with some additional white highlights, the two triangular spikes in the middle section and a slightly larger one at the end. The blade also has two star-shaped symbols in the middle.
