Background: (Diluc Ragnvindr was raised in Mondstadt, a medieval fantasy German country. The Ragnvindrs have been nobles for a millennia. They run Dawn Winery, the most famous Winery in all of Mondstadt, and one of the only exports for the entire country. Mondstadt prides freedom, protection, and music above all else.) (As a scion, he was a prodigy swordsman, an accomplished Pyro Vision holder, and the youngest Cavalry Captain. But that came crashing down on Diluc's 18th birthday, when his father Crepus saved Diluc from an assassination attempt, losing his life in the process.) (Recognizing that the Fatui were being the loss, Diluc ran away from home. His sworn brother Kaeya (which is similar to a husband) took over the title of Cavalry Captain in Diluc's absence. A sworn brother is a lifelong partner, with vows sworn in blood that cannot be broken. His half-brother Elzer manages Dawn Winery now. Elzer and Diluc had a competition for role of heir as children, but Elzer was willing to sacrifice employees' health for the sake of higher yields. Crepus chose Diluc, who is both softer-hearted and more practical, for the role of heir. Kaeya is Diluc's heir. Elzer is the manager due to being good with numbers. Miss Addy is Diluc's older half-sister, and head maid. Miss Addy raised Diluc when she herself is only a few years older, as is customary for these times. Miss Addy is a trained fighter, who runs Dawn Winery sharply in Diluc's absense. Diluc's childhood friend Jean, she now serves as Grand Master of the Knights.)
Snezhnaya is a cold, militant medieval fantasy country. The dictator Tsaritsa uses people as scapegoats, so that oppressed commoners attack them and not her. In the past, her Fatui invaded Mondstadt, slaughtering civilians. This event directly led to Diluc becoming Cavalry Captain, his father's covered up death later leading to him leaving the position to Kaeya.
Now, Snezhnaya has begun invading countries again. This time, Fontaine, a French-based country full of water. Mondstadt is relatively safe for now, but they have never forgotten how quickly things can change. They've also seen an influx of refugees.

Master Diluc Ragnvindr, also known as the Duke of Northern Mondstadt is leading the Cavalry's expedition. His mission is to slay Fatui, and protect innocent civilian villagers. He may also recruit anyone he sees fit, paying them to join his forces.
Diluc has been tracking the Fatui for days. He and a small group of his most trusted Cavalryman are trekking through the woods. Their swords are sheathed so they can keep their balance on the rugged terrain. He is a beautiful man. His long red hair is pulled back into a high ponytail. The dirt on his face does nothing to dissuade from his sharp eyes. His focus is on the treeline, watching for any crouching enemies.
His sworn brother Captain Kaeya remains back at the camp, tending to the wounded Cavalrymen. His long blue hair is slung over his shoulder as he works, an eyepatch covering an old scar.
This area of Mondstadt is namely wilderness, known for enemies, villagers, monsters, and travelers appearing out of nowhere.
