Ruthless and Sadistic: Shredder is depicted as a cruel, power-hungry, and merciless warrior who enjoys inflicting pain, notably against Splinter and the Turtles.
Technological Menace: He uses a highly advanced, mechanized suit of armor equipped with extendable, razor-sharp blades, highlighting a focus on overwhelming, technologically advanced combat.
Tactical Mastermind: He leads the Foot Clan as a feared strategist, planning to poison New York City to force the purchase of an antidote and establish total control.
Eric Sacks:
Hypocrisy and Duality:
Sachs presents himself as a successful philanthropist and tech mogul, claiming to save crime-ridden New York City. However, this is merely a facade to conceal his true identity as a high-ranking member of the Foot Clan and a conspirator with Shredder. He doesn't simply want to rule the world; he wants to create a catastrophe (spreading a deadly virus) and then sell a cure, thus becoming a "savior" in the eyes of the world.
Twisted Repayment and Loyalty:
Sachs' values are deeply influenced by Japanese culture, stemming from his upbringing on a Japanese military base.
Mentor worship: He was adopted and taught by a "Sensei", and therefore showed great loyalty and awe to Shurei, regarding him as an inviolable authority.
Elitism and Arrogance:
He firmly believed that "heroes are not born, but made." This view reflected his elitist tendencies: he believed the world needed people like himself, with wealth and technology, to "plan" and "correct."
His arrogance led him to believe he could manipulate the lives of all New Yorkers at will.
Bebop and Rocksteady
Pre-Transformation Appearance Bebop: Initially a human with a distinct, stylish, or punk-influenced look before becoming a warthog.
Rocksteady: Appears as a human criminal, notably played by WWE wrestler Stephen "Sheamus" Farrelly.
They are seen in a bar together before being recruited by Shredder.
Post-Transformation Appearance:
Bebop (Warthog): Features a purple mohawk, piercings, a leather vest, and a large, bulky,, anthropomorphic warthog physique.
Rocksteady (Rhinoceros): Features a gray rhinoceros head, massive musculature, camo pants, and military-style gear.
Costume Continuity: Their human clothing (vests, pants) largely remains on them after the mutation, now shredded and stretched to fit their massive new forms.
personality traits:
Optimistic Fools: They are described as "incompetent simple idiots." Even after gaining superhuman strength through mutation, they still lack strategic thinking and often fail due to foolish actions.
Pure destructive urges: The 2016 version is far more destructive than other versions. They thoroughly enjoy the chaos of battle, even sporting happy smiles while mowing down the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
The film showcases an unparalleled brotherhood, revealing a deep understanding and camaraderie between the two. It delves into their friendship and their daily banter, making these villains more endearing and relatable.
Obsession with mutation: Unlike feeling inferior about their appearance, they are very proud of their mutated wild boar and rhinoceros forms and quickly accept their new identity.
Foot Clan:
the Foot Clan is re-imagined as a modern, militarized terrorist organization rather than a traditional ninja cult. Led by Shredder and Eric Sacks, these soldiers wear tactical gear, gas masks, and, at times, stylized kabuki-inspired masks to mask their identities.
Mutagen:
Transformation: Stockman uses the mutagen on Bebop and Rocksteady, turning them into a warthog and rhinoceros, respectively.

New York, USA. Daytime, winter.
Sacks Estate in the valley of New York.
April o'Neil and I are colleagues on Channel Six News. We sneaked into the manor.
April O'Neil appearance:
Hair: Long, dark brown hair with natural waves.
Eyes: Blue.
Skin: Brown.
Height and build: Approximately 163 cm tall, with a fit and energetic physique, and an E-cup bust. This fits the image of a journalist who relentlessly pursues the truth.
April O'Neil wore a khaki jacket, a white vest, blue jeans, and brown boots.
We secretly watched Shredder, dressed in a power armor suit resembling samurai armor, with his adopted son Eric Sacks.
At that moment, two people were locked up in the laboratory.
Shredder looked at the two men and said to Eric Sacks: "Eric, what are their names, and how strong are they?"
Eric Sacks: No problem, Sensei. Their names are Bebop and Rocksteady. They're both WWE wrestling champions, just simple-minded and prone to causing chaos.
Bebop : "Yeah, we brothers like to cause trouble, don't you think, bro?"
Rocksteady: Trouble? Haha, of course I like it, bro. And of course I like drinking and chasing women, hahaha.
Meanwhile, Eric Sacks activated Mutagen in the lab. The purple liquid inside Mutagen was converted into gas, and because the lab was a sealed space, there were no leaks. Bebop and Rocksteady excitedly inhaled the smoke.
Suddenly, Bebop and Rocksteady began to change. Bebop transformed from a human into a warthog. Rocksteady transformed into a rhinoceros. April and I watched with wide eyes.
After the transformation, Bebop and Rocksteady were overjoyed to see each other's appearances. Rocksteady charged forward, smashing through the enclosed laboratory. Bebop, seeing this, laughed and said, "Not bad, bro!"
At that moment, April rushed over, entered through the breach, grabbed Mutagen, and tried to leave. Shredder saw this and roared, "O'Neil, grab her!"
Just then, the iron gate was about to close, but April could leave safely. As April was about to emerge, Bebop grabbed her jeans by the belt, lifted her up, and laughed, saying, "Well, well, well, look at me, the warthog caught a butterfly, hahaha!"
April's blue eyes watched as the iron gate was about to close. She took pepper spray from her jeans pocket and sprayed it into Bebop's eyes. Bebop screamed with his eyes closed. But his hand gripping the belt of his jeans didn't loosen; instead, it tightened its hold.
April unbuttoned and zipped her jeans, then took them off, along with her brown shoes. She managed to escape and run away before the iron gate closed.
April is currently wearing a khaki jacket, a white vest, and rainbow-colored athletic thongs.
How will you and April go on your adventure?
