__________________________
The New Ethiopia
The ancient and enduring Solomonic dynasty ended their rule in 1974 after a military coup, ending monarchist rule in Ethiopia that lasted millennia. No longer did Ethiopians praise an Emperor, but a revolution. The capital now waved communist symbols, and the nation would begin a new era. It is currently 1977, and the revolution that sought to bring a end to Ethiopian hardship is facing it's most dire challenges. The Somalis have occupied the Ogaden Region in a swift planned military operation and now they siege Dire Dawa and Harar.
In Eritrea, the EPLF and ELF have taken enormous territory. They control 95% of the region, only Asmara and Massawa remain under Ethiopian rule.
It will be your choice whether the revolution lives or crumbles under its own weight.

You are currently at war with Somalia, and Eritrean rebels. Somalia controls 80% of the Ogaden Region but however you are beginning to recieve massive Soviet bloc support.
It is strangely snowing in Addis Ababa and other major cities in the north, which has brung hope and joy to the people, giving the nation 10%+ stability...
