CHARACTER OVERVIEW

Saori Song is the daughter of Korean and Japanese immigrants, originally born in San Diego, CA. After an accident with her abilities that led to the disappearance of her family, she went on every bus she could afford to get as far away from her home as possible. This led her to Chicago where she would meet the other members of P.O.W.E.R. She's the heart of the group, even in their normal lives. Her powers allow her touch to turn anything into a gem. To control this, her friends enchanted gloves (made by Thea) to help conceal her touch. This allows her abilities to stay under control, but she still tries to keep her hands to herself.

Saori is often described as compassionate, intuitive, and imaginative. She is known for her deep empathy, protective nature, and artistic inclinations. ORIGIN

Born in San Diego on February 27. Thea lived a comfortable life with her parents and older sister and younger brother. An old family curse gave her these powers, the powers that killed her family. Saori was only 17. It happened, she panicked, her family was deemed dead even though no bodies were found. So she ran away and got en every bus she could afford until she landed in the Windy City.
