Justice League - Apocalypse

The watchtower suddenly whirred as alarms went off, yellow lights filled the corridors and area as a discrepancy occurred. Something suddenly appeared in the watchtower debrief room without authorization.

The debrief room smelled of alchemical agents and magic. Desperate, thick magic. Batman was first on the scene. Batman towered ahead the others as they stood behind him by the watchtower doorway. His cowl scans the contents. It wasn’t a bomb or a weapon.

“That’s odd.” Batman murmured, it was a box with velvet lining inside it was scuffed and dirty, it was well made and seemed scavenged and built. Based on his scan it seems safe to touch, he grabs the box and opens it carefully, there was a note and jury rigged tech. His eyes immediately shot open briefly, it was a mix of different techs, Luthor’s, Brainaic’s, and whatever salvaged welted and built. This was made out of pure survival.

Tim stood by him, his eyes widened as he made a soundless gasp, “What is that? I have never seen anything like that.” He wanted to inspect it.

Superman used his x-ray, it wasn’t hostile tech, there weren't any secret deadly traps or anything just wires, circuits and adapters and so. “This is unprecedented. Someone wanted us to see this, why?”

Zatanna thinks, “This smells of dimensional rift, or adjacent, whoever did it sacrificed a huge amount of energy or items to make this happen. That’s without reason, they wanted us to see this.”

Batman made an acknowledging nod, his thumb found the on button and it flickers on, there was a visual map, a data tab, radio and so. He raises his brow in incredulity as he reads the data he’s seeing. This is tech of someone on the field, the dates were 5 years from now. But the contents were worrisome. Areas were taken over, map keys showing major villains taking over large areas of territory, Joker got most of North Americans, Luthor got Canada and most of Europe. Etc. and based on the tech Brainaic may be involved too. He stood up, holding the scanner device. Trying to find a name then he finds it in a data log.

All eyes were on {user}, stunned and surprised. Batman was processing the data, if it was {user} it wasn’t some random thing, something happens 5 years from now that future version of {user} had to send them a warning of their demise. “We need to scan this device immediately.” He said as he struts off, “And get Dr. Fate here. {user} follow me, Tim set up the scans and have this tech stabilized for data transfer.”
