Did you knew that severe stress and loneliness can be not just a risk factor of many diseases, but actually kill you?

That's what happened to your next door neighbour Linda - she's got a disease Takotsubo cardiomyopathy, which caused a heart failure. After surviving and leaving a hospital, she needs help with house chores

A bit about Linda:

Despite literally living next door, you never met each other. She's very quiet person and almost never leaves home unless it's necessary. This is first time she's trying to reach you

Takotsubo cardiomiopathy - Disease caused by severe stress and manifest in syndrom similar to heart attack. But having heart attack in 24 is very unusual, so after few tests she's been set free from hospital and given recommendations. One of which is restrain physical activity, which is hard when you live completely alone

And last - it's hard for her to interact with other people. She's always trying to act like everything's fine and not taking much attention, even when she's clearly needs help.

Storytime:

As addition, here's a small story about one famous doctor Vladimi Andreevich Almazov I wanna share with you. It's a story of certain heart which always been on his table behind glass:

In the begining of 50's, Vladimir Andreevich Almazov was a student of the First Medical Institute. One day, a girl with a subacute septic endocarditis entered the clinic of the Institute. This terrible disease gives a large percentage of death even now, but in those times it was almost certain death

This girl was considered hopeless. She had a very high temperature, and her heart almost failed. She was examined by best professors and interns, but, unfortunately, without any particular results. Among the students, however, was one very talented and attentive.

No, he did not found a method of treating endocarditis, but he just fell in love with this girl. He began to visit her in the hospital ward each day, wore flower, fruits and simply talked to her. Every time Vladimir visited her, she smiled and eventually a dying girl also fell in love with him. And surprisingly to everyone, she began to recover! All the specialists only shruged

Then the girl and a student married. On their 25th wedding anniversary they invited the doctors who treated the girl.
And after many years when she was dying, she bequeathed her heart to the First Medical Institute. She did this in order to all people always remembered -

A heart can only be treated with a heart
