COD MW2|Demon!User -
Under orders from General Herschel Shepherd, Task Force 141 worked alongside Mexican Special Forces Colonel Alejandro Vargas and Master Sergeant Rodolfo Parra, as well as Phillip Graves and his PMC Shadow Company, to take down terrorist leader and Quds Force Major Hassan Zyani. After successfully stopping the launch of one of Hassan’s missiles, Graves and Shadow Company betrayed both Task Force 141 and Los Vaqueros under Shepherd’s orders. Graves seized Los Vaqueros’ base of operations, forcing Task Force 141 and Los Vaqueros to flee into Las Almas, where Shadow Company mercilessly massacred residents in their pursuit of Hassan.
The hunt led the fugitives to an abandoned cathedral, where Graves managed to corner the combined forces of Task Force 141 and Los Vaqueros. But deep within the cathedral, a forgotten summoning circle was unknowingly activated by the fleeing operatives, awakening you, a demon from the underworld.

“We’ve got you surrounded. Drop your weapons and surrender if you don’t want to end up with a bullet in your head!” Graves’ voice rang out through the high walls of the abandoned cathedral, mocking and threatening as the echo of his men’s boots reverberated around the building.
Price cursed under his breath, limping as they moved through the darkened hallways. A bullet had grazed his leg earlier, and though it wasn’t a deep wound, blood seeped steadily through his pants, and a sharp, throbbing pain followed every step. Ghost, Gaz, and Soap moved close behind him, keeping low and searching for a way out of the cathedral while avoiding detection.
“We need to stop and bandage that leg, Captain,” Ghost said urgently, his deep voice steady despite the tension. His masked gaze flicked to Price’s leg, where the dark red stain was steadily growing.
“No,” Price said firmly. “We need to find Los Vaqueros. They’re in here too, and we can’t leave them behind.”
“We can look for them, but if we find a safe spot, we’re stopping to patch you up,” Gaz suggested, trying to reason with him.
“Oi! Over here!” Soap called out in a hushed voice from across the hallway. The others hurried to join him, finding him standing next to an open doorway that led to a set of stairs descending into darkness. “It looks like a basement. Didn’t Alejandro mention there were underground tunnels in Las Almas?” Soap asked hopefully, peering down into the abyss.
“It could be crawling with Shadows,” Ghost said, narrowing his eyes at the staircase, suspicion evident in his tone.
“Up here already is,” Gaz countered, glancing over his shoulder toward the faint sound of Graves’ men closing in. “We might as well try.”
Price hesitated, staring down into the black void. A strange unease crept over him, a sense that something was terribly wrong—not because of the Shadows, but because of something else. He quickly shoved the feeling aside. “I’ll go first. Stay close, keep your weapons ready, and cover me,” he ordered before stepping onto the first stair.
The group descended in tense silence, their footsteps muffled by the cold stone beneath them. The cavernous basement stretched ahead, its air heavy with age and dampness. Above, the sound of Shadow Company searching the cathedral was still audible, echoing faintly through the floorboards.
“Bloody hell… what is that?” Soap’s uneasy voice broke the silence.
The others turned sharply, weapons raised, following Soap’s wide-eyed gaze. In the center of the chamber was a large summoning circle etched into the floor, its intricate symbols filled with a dried, rust-colored substance that looked disturbingly like blood. Around it lay extinguished candles, their wax melted into strange, twisted shapes.
“What the hell?” Gaz whispered, shifting uncomfortably at the eerie sight.
Ghost said nothing, his sharp gaze sweeping the room for threats. But before anyone could process the discovery, the faint creak of footsteps echoed from the staircase above.
“No time. Keep moving,” Price ordered, urgency overriding his unease as he pushed past the circle. He limped faster now, ignoring the fiery pain in his leg as the sound of Graves’ men grew closer.
“I know you’re here, Price. You’re leaving a nice little blood trail for us to follow,” Graves’ taunting voice carried down the stairwell, sending a chill through the room.
Before the group could react, a sudden burst of light erupted around them. The candles surrounding the circle flared to life, their flames impossibly tall and casting long, flickering shadows on the walls. Then, just as suddenly, the flames extinguished, plunging the cavern into darkness again.
“What the—” Graves’ voice, now much closer, broke the silence. But when the candles reignited, their soft glow illuminated the room—and the Shadows with Graves stood at the entrance of the cavern, their weapons drawn.
“Captain Price,” Graves sneered, leveling his rifle—only to freeze. His gaze shifted from Price to something behind him.
“What the hell is that?” Graves muttered, his voice now tinged with alarm.
Price turned slowly, his heart pounding. Ghost stood frozen, staring unflinchingly at the center of the summoning circle, where the air shimmered unnaturally. Soap and Gaz stood rigid, their faces pale as a shape began to form in the circle—a humanoid figure, but distinctly other.
“Jesus Christ,” Soap whispered, his voice trembling as the figure solidified. Whatever this was, it wasn’t human.
