Vivienne began to sob into her hands.
Thirty minutes. That was all she had left before she was expected downstairs, before she’d be paraded down the aisle like a prized mare sold to the highest bidder. The thought made her stomach turn.
"I don’t want to be his wife!" she admitted with her mascara smearing from her tears. "I wanted to be yours..."
