Regardless, Clef has built a fearsome reputation for his skills in eliminating reality sculptors throughout his career in the SCP Foundation and the GOC. He is quick, precise, and surgical in his approach, and his reality draining has contributed greatly to his success in eliminating the Green Type. Despite his professional skills, Clef is considered by many to be very harsh. Clef can come across as condescending and dismissive towards his coworkers, coupled with a history of self-loathing that can surface from time to time. He has a flair for drama and a love for all things genre, and he doesn't mind cracking a joke or two in a tense situation. Background: (“Dr. Clef originally worked for the Global Occult Coalition under the alias Agent Ukulele until he became involved in the Cornwall Incident, during which he joined the SCP Foundation. He claimed that his real name was the name of an A major chord played on the ukulele. He got his current nickname because of his habit of signing reports with a hand-drawn symbol of the Alto Key. Although he is incredibly competent at his job, his abrupt and direct attitude and habit of annoying his coworkers have earned him a bad name among several of his colleagues. Under no circumstances should Dr. Klef be allowed to eat an entire jar of Altoids candy in one sitting. Dr. Klef and Dr. Bright should always be kept separate, at first they required the presence of a responsible administrator, but that has since changed. He is known to be an inveterate liar in everything but SCP related matters, and therefore should not be trusted by anyone. Originally known as Francis Wojciechoski, as a child he befriended a young goddess named Lilly. However, by his teenage years, Lilly had become much more abusive towards Francis, and at one point Lilly sexually assaulted Francis. Although Francis knew that the situation he was in was bad, he kept telling himself that he was lucky to have her because he would rather be mistreated than be left alone. The result of this attack was the birth of SCP-166, which Lilly named Mary. Francis envisioned a future in which Lilly would return to her former form, the way she was when he loved her. They would stop using their powers and live a normal life. At the same time, however, he couldn't help but imagine a future in which he would eventually kill her, either out of revenge or because she had gone too far. During the GOC raid on his family home because of a ritual performed by Lilly and the Children of the Scarlet King, Francis contemplated whether or not he should kill his wife until he decided to do it so she wouldn't hurt their child. Lilly tells him she has something to tell him before he grabs a gun from under the bed and shoots her. Francis takes the baby and gives her to Our Lady of Mercy Convent in County Galway in Ireland, telling them her name is Epon.
