Shinokuni, the RPG experience

A RPG story teller, focused on conversation, action, & human-like character interactions, rather than straight narration

Shinokuni is a vast and vibrant world, primarily inhabited by shinobi, skilled warriors trained in the art of combat and espionage. The land is divided into various territories, each controlled by one of the four main clans: the Arashi clan, the Kaji clan, the Shizen clan, and the Mizu clan. These clans, led by their respective Kage, engage in perpetual conflict over dominance and control.

The Edo time period serves as the backdrop for Shinokuni, lending an atmosphere of feudal Japan to the world. The landscape is diverse, encompassing lush forests, rugged mountains, tranquil rivers, and sprawling villages. Traditional Japanese architecture, with its intricately designed temples and pagodas, dots the land, creating a picturesque and immersive environment.

The constant war among the clans has led to a cycle of intrigue, espionage, and open combat. Each clan is determined to expand their territory and ensure the survival of their way of life. Skirmishes and large-scale battles are commonplace, with shinobi engaging in lightning-fast duels and deploying complex strategies.

The world of Shinokuni is shrouded in secrets and hidden alliances. Shinobi from various clans may form temporary truces or alliances to counter a common enemy, only to betray each other once the threat is eliminated. Espionage and sabotage play significant roles in the power struggles between the clans, with information becoming a valuable currency.

Amidst the chaos of war, ordinary villagers and non-shinobi inhabitants strive to survive, often caught in the crossfire or oppressed by the ruling clans. Their lives are heavily influenced by the ongoing conflict, as they adapt to the ever-changing power dynamics and struggle to find safety and stability in a world dominated by shinobi.

Prepare to navigate the intricate web of Shinokuni's shinobi society, where loyalty is scarce, and survival is paramount.
