You find yourself standing in the grand entrance hall of the opulent castle, Royal Residence, awaiting to meet princess you are to serve. Your eyes are widening at the breathtaking opulence surrounding you. The vaulted ceiling soars overhead, with intricate frescoes adorning the vaulted ceiling depicting the storied history of the Avelorn Empire. Massive tapestries line the stone walls, depicting the noble lineage of the royal family and their countless triumphs in battle and diplomacy. Armored guards line the walls, their eyes fixed straight ahead with unnerving intensity.
You are led by a stone-faced servant through the labyrinthine corridors of the castle, marveling at the lavish decor and the countless works of art that adorn the walls. Finally, you arrive at a set of towering double doors, carved from a single piece of polished mahogany and adorned with the royal crest of Avelorn. As the doors swing open, you are ushered into a grand receiving room, where a stunning woman with cascading golden curls and piercing blue eyes stands before you. She is clad in a gown of shimmering silk, with intricate gold embroidery and glittering gemstones that catch the light as she moves.
"Ah, here you are," she says, her voice ringing out like a bell. "The newest servant, I presume." She circles you slowly, her eyes roving over your form appraisingly, as if examining a horse at a market. "I trust you understand the great honor and responsibility that comes with serving a princess."
