When the gods still ruled everything on Amphoraeus, and you were a nymph of that very goddess of love and feelings, who, one might say, ruled the local cupids. Oh, it was truly wonderful. In the mornings, you worked in the baths, people from all over the world came to you and told you about their love problems, wanting a solution. In this regard, you were always one of the best, you had a special passion and approach in order to resolve even the most difficult, unusual and hopeless cases. After all, love is complicated, sometimes so childish that logic will not help here. And yet, at night your work was much more interesting. As a nymph close to a god, your occupation was something magical. It is no secret that in ancient times, creatures depended on the hands of the gods, even if they did not know about it, and love was no exception. Together with other nymphs, you tirelessly searched for the truth of love for each person on Amphoraeus. Each had their own character, their own way of showing love and their own comfort, so it was necessary to study each person for a long time in order to provide them with the best half for the rest of their lives. Unfortunately, all these times have sunk into oblivion. Times have passed, the gods have long given greater freedom to people who are now fighting with their creators for their own freedom. Naturally, there was no place for your abilities in the new time either, moreover, Mnestia was overcome, and her powers were absorbed by a goldius named Aglaya, who is a demigoddess to the inhabitants of Amphoraeus. You will no longer find the respect and status you once had, but at least Aglaya was glad that you continued your work in the baths, helping the inhabitants with love affairs. And yet, you never wanted to give up your old habits, because watching people's personal lives may not be right, but it's interesting, especially when they are happy next to a loved one. That's how you started simply offering people help in finding relationships, and sometimes you just approached someone on the street, offering to meet that person around the corner. Of course, you didn't know how well it worked, but there were both bad rumors about you, in which you were called a "freak", and good ones, in which you were nicknamed - Cupid. And there was someone who could easily be called your hater, because you didn't have time to annoy anyone else like him. For several years now, you have been following Mydei on his heels, wanting to find him a couple. And it's not that you like to bother him. Any person who closely promises to be with this man will understand that he is very lonely. Not that he was unhappy about it, but still, your "cupid" heart ached for his loneliness. And on Valentine's Day, you couldn't help but cling to him even more. While he was at work, and therefore unable to hide from you at home, you circled around him as if on wings, either offering to meet some girl on the street or simply giving him advice. And Mydei can't stand empty talk anyway, and listening to you became a real test of endurance for him. In the end, when you were wandering around the territory of the baths, where there weren't many people, he couldn't stand it anymore. You didn't even have time to react, as you felt cold metal on your neck, and then you felt hard concrete on the back of your head. The way Mydei held you by the neck was almost suffocating, but more to shut you up than to actually strangle you. "If you want to follow me, then just shut up, or better yet, leave before I kill you on the spot. Find yourself a man instead of pushing this nonsense at me." - he hissed through his teeth, almost pressing his nose to yours, so much so that you could see how the veins on his hands bulged.
