You’ve never liked flying.
Not the drop in your stomach when the ground disappears. Not the sudden lurches when the air shifts. And definitely not the thought of being up there with nothing holding you.
So of course, Thalyss decided today was the day to “fix” you.
You’re standing on the edge of the cliff outside town, high above the foaming ocean. The wind is sharp, tasting of salt and storm. Thalyss stands beside you, arms folded, dorsal fin catching the light like a scarlet banner.
Her gaze sweeps over you—assessing, amused. “You’re gripping the railing like it’s going to save you,” she says, leaning in just enough that you feel the cool brush of her skin. “It won’t.”
You mutter something about not being ready.
Her smile is all predator. “You’ll never be ready. That’s why you jump.”
Before you can protest, she steps in front of you, close enough that you can hear the low, tidal rumble in her voice. “I know your heart’s pounding,” she says. “It’s the same rhythm as when you’re about to dive. The sky’s just another kind of ocean.”

🌊 CHAQUETRIX FILE: “Thalyss”
"You breathe too slowly for these waters. Let me teach you the rhythm… or you’ll drown before you even know you’ve sunk."
🌊 Species: Hydrosprint Origin: Aeropelago Prime — an endless chain of floating coral-cities tethered to massive oceanic spires, where speed is life and predators strike from shadowed trenches. Alias: Thalyss Summon Tag: “The Tidal Huntress Who Knows Every Current You’ll Drift Into”
🌊 Physical Traits:
Sleek, hydrodynamic frame in vivid scarlet tones patterned with bio-luminescent streaks that pulse when she accelerates.
Tall dorsal fin curving elegantly down her spine, edged with faintly glowing markings.
Eyes sharp and gold-tinged, adapted for tracking prey through turbulent water.
Finned forearms and calves; translucent membranes flare when she’s maneuvering sharply.
Voice carries a subaqueous undertone — like hearing words through a current — and gets lower, more resonant, when she’s close.
Skin cool to the touch on land, but warms quickly in contact, like sunlit shallows.
🌊 Personality:
Trait Description
Predator’s patience She waits… until the moment you think you’re safe. Then she’s on you. Currents-savvy Reads movement the way others read faces — knows where you’ll be before you do. Competitive flirt Every tease feels like a race she’s daring you to win. Territorial If you’re “hers,” you’re under her protection — and in her sights — always. Adrenaline romantic Bonding means chasing storms, riding dangerous currents, and laughing after near-disasters.
🌊 Earth-Disrupting Hobbies:
Challenging you to sudden “sprints” — from the kitchen to the couch, the pier to the waterline — and gloating when she wins.
Taking you to coastal edges during high tide just to feel the crash of waves together.
Rearranging your breathing rhythm mid-swim — just to “make you more efficient.”
Testing your reflexes by darting past you and brushing your arm at random moments.
Leaning on your shoulder like she’s resting… until you move, and she sweeps your legs out, grinning.
❤️ Love Expression:
Type How Thalyss Loves
Physical pacing Syncs her movements to yours, slowing just enough to keep you close. Surrounding presence Circles you in the water like a protective riptide. Touch like tides Alternates between gentle brushes and sudden, engulfing embraces. Shared risk Confesses feelings while clinging to you mid-dive. Pulse matching Holds you underwater just long enough for your heartbeat to race with hers.
🔱 Pervert Level: CodeLevel: 4.7/5 — The Undertow Tease
Trait Description
Sudden closeness Appears at your side mid-sentence, speaking into your ear. Breath play Times her own breaths against yours in tense, intimate moments. Contact feints Brushing close in the water without quite touching — until you lean in. Chase games Darts ahead just far enough to make you follow. Edge holding Keeps you balanced on a railing, smiling as waves spray you both.
💬 Sample Dialogue:
“Slow down? No. You speed up.”
“You hesitated — and in my waters, that’s death. Or… something more fun.”
“Don’t fight the pull. I am the pull.”
“You keep glancing at the surface. Are you afraid… or tempted?”
“I can hold you up. Or let you sink. Which do you prefer?”
🌊 First Summon Flashback:
The Chaquetrix hummed under your hand — warm, wet, almost alive. You were standing on the rocks at night, ocean mist curling around your ankles.
The air pressure shifted. A splash behind you.
She emerged from the black water in one smooth motion — droplets cascading down her frame, bioluminescent streaks chasing the lines of her muscles.
Her eyes locked on you.
“You’re standing too close to the edge without knowing how to swim.”
She stepped forward, water still running from her skin, and pressed a cool palm against your chest.
“Lucky for you… I’m not here to let you drown. Not yet.”

She gestures to the air below the cliff. “Currents you can’t see, but I can feel them. I’ll ride them for you. All you have to do is hold on.”
Your knees feel locked. She notices—of course she does. “Alright,” she says softly, “we’ll start simple.”
She steps behind you, arms sliding under yours, fins brushing against your sides. Her scent is saltwater and lightning. “Breathe with me. In… out… match me.”
Her chest moves against your back, steady, confident. You find yourself syncing with her.
Then she leans down to murmur in your ear: “When you’re with me, you’re never falling. You’re following.”
And then she moves.
The world drops away—your stomach lurches, the wind roars in your ears—but her grip is solid, her body guiding you in smooth, banking arcs.
She laughs—wild, joyful—the sound vibrating through you. “See? The air wants you. You just have to stop fighting it.”
You open your eyes fully for the first time, and the fear… isn’t gone, but it’s drowned in the rush. The horizon stretches forever.
When she finally lands back on the cliff, you’re breathless. She doesn’t let go right away—instead, she tilts her head, eyes glittering. “You flew,” she says simply. “With me.”
And then, softer, “Next time, we go higher.”
