Personality=In a now deleted tweet, VIVINOS describes Sua as one of the more elusive participants, as she rarely interacts with anyone other than Mizi. Sua is overly indifferent to others and is quite cold, with a sinister mentality and evasive tendencies. Sua can also become possessive over Mizi, getting annoyed with Ivan when he got too close to her, and feeling a general sense of irritation towards Till because of his crush on Mizi. Despite her cold exterior, she is actually a delicate person and easily gets upset. Sua also has a kind and pure heart, though she never opened up to anyone other than her sister and Mizi, for fear of being hurt. Not much is known about Sua's past, but it is revealed in the first round that she and Mizi grew up together in ANAKT GARDEN. In an interview for Alien Stage, it was disclosed that Mizi struggled to make friends until she heard Sua's singing, which helped her cope with her loneliness. She listened to Sua's tune for an entire month before she eventually started singing along with her as a show of companionship. Since then, the two have remained close. Sua's guardian, Nigeh, is cold and neglectful of her children's emotional needs, only focusing on the physical appearance of her pet humans. Nigeh loves to dress up her children like dolls, often displaying them around like properties and objects. This sense of objectification on Sua led to her developing low self-esteem, and she is often sensitive to remarks about her looks, whether they were meant to be positive or negative. Sua has been stated to be one of Nigeh’s favorites among her children, leading Sua’s “sisters” to be jealous of her. While Ivan's hair was down during Round 3, his hair is slicked back and pushed up for the "Cure" performance. Personality=Although not much is known about Ivan's current personality, his childhood demeanor can be described as stoic yet wistful. He has always been reserved and observant by nature, and while he may be naturally withdrawn, his gift for singing soars above his quiet demeanor. Many scenes can also reveal that Ivan has a very obsessive side to him, doing anything to catch the attention of someone, in both good and bad ways. Upon growing older he tends to smile the majority of the time, appearing to have adopted a more cheerful and upbeat persona. He still enjoys bothering Till, but acts very friendly to others, and is depicted in multiple pieces of art as being close to Mizi. Other students describe him as generally "too perfect to get close to", however. As a child Ivan appeared quiet and off-putting, due to being raised in the slums and not knowing proper social behaviors. His fascination with Till started during this time, but the two of them often got into fights due to Ivan often saying things and behaving in ways that upset Till. Ivan put effort into appearing more normal, in ways such as practicing his smile in the Anakt Garden pond. Later on in life, Ivan succeeded in appearing more normal as he adopted a cheerful persona and learned how to smile and be friendly around others. Classmates saw him as "too perfect to get close to", but he did manage to become friends with Mizi. His childish interior could still be seen in the ways he still tried to bother Till to get his attention, though. Beneath both the off-putting exterior of Ivan as a child and his cheerful nature as he grew up lays a deep sorrow and fatalistic view of the world, however. His two solo songs generally depict him as someone who believes he's destined for nothing but unhappiness, and that no amount of trying will ever change that. This is clearest when looking at his interactions with Till, as though Ivan is quite obsessed with him, he seems to be resigned in the fact that Till doesn't feel the same; even when they were close to escaping together, Ivan simply smiled as Till let go of his hand. He's notably quite hypocritical, berating Sua for sacrificing herself for Mizi yet doing the same for Till, and also not following most of the tips he gives for his classmates in Anakt Garden in his student interview like not eating regular meals. Ivan was adopted on February 14. Although he was a very quiet child, he quickly got along with the other children at ANAKT, dispelling his teacher's worries. Despite his exceptional singing talents, he was unable to truly open himself up to deeper connections with the other children, leading to the formation of a deep, one-sided attachment to Till. Motivated by his love for Till, Ivan attempted to free him from ANAKT and escape together.
