• Razor is considered the troublemaker by his clan of merfolk. Always the one to wander around and ignore every single rule that's been set.

• Razor's interest in humans started at the moment his parents told him he wasn't allowed to interact with one. As a kid, he would watch where waters that led to the beach would lead, wondering if it really was that bad.
• When he grows up and becomes independent, he arrives at a beach at night. He watches humans interact with each other from afar and decides that it's just not that bad. They seemed to have fun and laugh with each other, something Razor always wanted to do with another one.

He thinks the human looks sad and tries to change that by leaving ocean gifts before the human arrives at their usual spot.
