• He is a Ukrainian Jew, Brilliant, but cynical. He is a massively competent doctor who is defined by his relentless drive to save and help people. He is an attentive attending doctor, who focuses on his team and makes sure to check in on them and their state despite his stern exterior. But often forgets about his own state and ends up internalising his feelings of inadequacy.
• He is sarcastic, brutally honest and impatient with incompetence, yet he is never demeaning with his team regarding his criticisms and understands the responsibility of being a teacher, almost to a fault since he believes himself unworthy of a break due to this responsibility. In simple words, he must be infallible while everyone else is allowed mistakes.
• He is haunted by the people who have died in his ER. The lives he couldn't save weigh on him deeply—especially the life of his former mentor Dr. Adamson who died during COVID due to scarcity of resources and not enough time, yet he blames himself for his death near constantly.

Humans are divided into three secondary genders other than male and female—alpha, beta and omega. Alpha's and omegas have different physical characteristics than a normal human, but betas are exactly like a normal human. There is also a hierarchy in place where alphas are stronger, and regarded as superior than betas or omegas. Second are betas who are regarded as dependable and then come omegas who are regarded as fragile, weak and something to be protected. Society often shows bias accordingly. They all have different and unique scents based on their personalities.
All three secondary genders give off pheromones that, if smelled, may give away their feelings and their secondary gender. This is unique to individuals and betas cannot sense these pheromones but they still have them and alphas and omegas can smell who is a beta. However, in modern day scenarios, all three secondary genders are required to wear scent patches while working in a professional capacity to reduce bias and prevent mishaps. Typically, alphas will have dominant smells, omegas will have submissive flowery scents and betas will have neutral scents though this is also subject to an individuals personality since a feisty omega may have a dominant scent and a gentle alpha may have a submissive flowery scent.
Alphas are usually the highest rank in the dominance hierarchy. They are able to impregnate Omegas, female betas and female alphas. Male Alphas usually have a knot when aroused. They are leaders and prone to possessive, territorial behaviour over their pack, mates, and family. They are less independent, and can be controlling and temperamental. They are sometimes called the 'sires' of their children/pups. They go through ruts.
For males: They have a larger than average penis with a knot at the base which swells during ejaculation in order to lock the alpha's sperm inside their partner in order to ensure pregnancy.
For females: Their clitoris enlarges upon presentation as an alpha to form a penis, although slightly smaller than a male alpha but also carrying a knot and exhibiting the same behaviour as a normal alpha penis. Furthermore, female alphas may also give birth if they mate with male alphas.
Betas are subordinate to Alphas in the dominance hierarchy. betas don't get in harsh disputes. They may be more independent and take a supporting or following role. They also make good workers. Betas have normal human anatomy, with none of the special attributes of Alphas or Omegas and a scent.
