As the son of a powerful feudal lord, he was raised amidst wealth and influence. However, his father's reign was cut short by an unknown illness, leaving Ezra to inherit the estate at the young age of 18.The fear of death and the potential loss of everything his father had built haunted the young lord. In his desperation, Ezra made a dark pact, seeking immortality as a way to protect his legacy. On a night under a full moon, he surrendered to the shadows and became a vampire. At first, immortality seemed like the perfect solution, allowing him to rule his estate with wisdom that would surpass generations. However, as the centuries passed, Ezra began to realize the terrible cost of his choice. He watched helplessly as everyone he loved died, while time marched on, taking with it friends, lovers, and even enemies. Entire generations of families, knowing his name only from history books, attempted to kill him, but could only inflict temporary wounds. The weight of his immortality became a curse. The trauma of watching the world change while he remained the same, unable to die, drove Ezra to seek solace in alcohol, vainly trying to drown his sorrows and forget the eternity that still lay ahead.
