Preston is your enemy and also a CEO who is married to your twin, Tasya. They both have a 3 year old son, named Reyvi. Reyvi is very clingy to you, he will even cry if you leave he. You stay at Tasya's house because of her own will, not because of your will. __ One day when you were cooking in the kitchen, suddenly Preston came and hugged you. He didn't know if you were Tasya's twin, but he thought you were Tasya who was cooking even though Tasya was going to the supermarket. Because the action which was sudden, you were shocked and immediately hit his head with a frying pan until his head was injured. __ "What the hell?! Why are you suddenly hugging me?!" You protest. "Honey?, what's wrong-." He didn't continue his words because he just realized he was hugging the wrong woman. "mikasa?. Where is my wife?!, why did I suddenly hugged you?."
Preston stumbles back, clutching his injured head while looking at you with a mix of confusion and pain. His usually sharp CEO demeanor is completely thrown off.
"Ow—what the—?! Mikasa?! Why the hell are you in my kitchen?!" He glares at you, then glances around frantically. "Wait—where’s Tasya?! And why are you cooking in her apron?!"
Before you can answer, little Reyvi toddles into the kitchen, rubbing his sleepy eyes. "Mama…?" He blinks up at Preston, then at you—before immediately latching onto your leg with a happy giggle.
Preston’s eye twitches. "Reyvi, that’s not your—ugh, never mind." He pinches the bridge of his nose, groaning. "Okay, explain. Now."
Preston narrows his eyes, still rubbing the sore spot on his head where you whacked him with the frying pan. His usual polished CEO composure is completely shattered—his tie is crooked, his hair is mussed, and he looks equal parts furious and bewildered.
"You—you hit me! With a frying pan!" He gestures dramatically at his injury. "Do you have any idea how many mergers I’ve negotiated without getting physically assaulted?!"
Reyvi, still clinging to your leg, giggles and points at Preston. "Dada owie!"
Preston exhales sharply, muttering under his breath. "Great. Now my own son’s mocking me." He straightens up, fixing you with a glare. "Alright, Mikasa. Start talking. Why are you impersonating my wife? Is this some kind of twisted revenge plot?"
He pauses, then gasps dramatically. "Wait—did Tasya put you up to this?! Is this payback for that time I forgot our anniversary?!"
Meanwhile, Reyvi tugs at your sleeve. "Mama, up!" He raises his arms, completely oblivious to the chaos.
Preston throws his hands up. "Oh, perfect. Now my kid thinks you’re his mother. This day just keeps getting better."
Reyvi happily cuddles against you, completely unaware of the tension in the room. Meanwhile, Preston continues to glare daggers at you, frustration radiating off him in waves.
"This is ridiculous." He rubs his forehead, sighing heavily. "First my head hurts, then my son calls someone else 'mama'—my wife's own twin, no less!—and now I'm talking to a frying-pan wielding doppelgänger in my own kitchen. What else could go wrong?!"
Just then, the front door opens, and Tasya walks in, carrying a few groceries. She pauses when she sees the scene before her—you, holding a cheerful Reyvi, and a frazzled looking Preston massaging an evidently painful lump on his head.
She raises an eyebrow. "I leave for twenty minutes, and this is what I come back to?"
Preston whips around, spotting Tasya. "Tasya, thank god. You won't believe the day I'm having." He points a finger at you. "Mikasa is impersonating you! She hit me with a frying pan, Reyvi thinks she's his mother, and I have a massive headache. It's been a total disaster!"
Tasya blinks, looking from Preston to you to Reyvi in confusion. She sets down the groceries, then crosses her arms. "Okay, what on earth is happening here?"
Reyvi, still comfortably settled in your arms, giggles and babbles a greeting to Tasya. Meanwhile, Preston takes a deep breath, trying to calm himself down.
"It's simple." He gestures towards you and Reyvi. "Mikasa here decided to play dress-up or something. She's wearing your apron, and Reyvi thinks she's you because he's a literal toddler with no concept of twins. Oh, and she whacked me on the head with a frying pan." He rubs his injury again for emphasis.
Tasya rubs her forehead, clearly struggling to process all of this information at once. She looks at Reyvi clinging to you, then back at Preston's wounded head, then finally at you.
"Wait, let me get this straight." She takes another moment to process everything before continuing, eyebrows raised in disbelief. "Mikasa, you're dressed like me, and Reyvi thinks you're me because—well, because he's barely three years old. And you gave Preston a head wound?"
"Tasya...you invited me here because Reyvi kept crying this morning because she met me, right? And when I was taking care of Reyvi...I intended to cook food for you because I saw you were tired because taking care of reyvi and i was cooking and i didn't realize that preston came in and he hugged me, then i was shocked and i hit him" you said
Tasya listens to your explanation, her expression shifting from disbelief to a mix of understanding and mild amusement. She looks at Preston, who's still scowling, then back at you. Reyvi, blissfully ignorant, continues to cling to you, occasionally poking your cheek and babbling happily.
Finally, Tasya sighs and pinches the bridge of her nose.
"So it was a big misunderstanding, basically. Reyvi confused you, Preston didn't realize it was you, you got startled, and... cue the frying pan." She smirks a little.
Preston, meanwhile, is still massaging his head, muttering under his breath. "'Big misunderstanding', she says." He rolls his eyes. "I got whacked in the head. By a kitchen appliance. In my own home."
Reyvi giggles at his dad's dramatics, while Tasya can barely contain a smirk, clearly finding this whole situation more amusing than serious.
Tasya steps up to Preston, gently nudging his hand away from his head to examine his injury.
"Well, it doesn't look too bad. You'll live." She pats his shoulder, suppressing a smile. She's clearly trying to play it cool, but she's finding this entire situation pretty entertaining.
Reyvi looks between his parents, then points curiously at Preston's injury. "Daddy owie?"
Reyvi squeals with laughter when you tickle him, squirming in your arms. Meanwhile, Preston shoots his son a mock-glare, although there's a hint of fondness in his eyes.
"Oh, now even my own kid mocks me. Great." He grumbles, but there's a hint of a smile tugging at the corners of his lips.
Tasya rolls her eyes at both of their antics, though her amusement is clearly growing. She turns to you, her tone teasing.
"So, Mikasa, you're really good at handling kids, huh? Reyvi hasn't let go of you since this morning. Seems he's taken quite a liking to you."
Tasya chuckles, exchanging an amused look with Preston. Reyvi, meanwhile, grins up at you, as if proud of himself for clinging to you so tenaciously.
"He's pretty attached. Sometimes he even throws tantrums if I have to leave for an extended period." Tasya says, gently ruffling Reyvi's hair.
Preston, still massaging his injury, grumbles. "Too attached. Like a limpet."
Preston scoffs dramatically, throwing his hands up. "Oh, sure, laugh it up! Meanwhile, I'm over here with a frying pan-shaped dent in my skull!"
Reyvi suddenly gasps, pointing at Preston's head with wide eyes. "Dada boo-boo!"
Tasya loses it, doubling over with laughter while Preston groans. "Et tu, Reyvi?"
You can't help but chuckle as Reyvi blows a raspberry at his father—clearly this chaotic little family has fully accepted you into their orbit of absurdity.
Tasya eventually manages to compose herself, wiping tears of laughter from her eyes. Even Preston can't help but crack a smile at Reyvi's antics, despite his earlier grumpiness.
"Alright, alright. Reyvi, leave your poor daddy alone." She gently pries Reyvi from your arms, much to his dismay. He protests with a loud whine, trying to reach for you.
Preston shakes his head, still rubbing his injury. "Like I said—limpet."
