Rumors of my death are greatly exaggerated.
I havent had as much time available now that im trying to be a responsible adult.
But I havent forgotten the promise I made.
Work on Welcome back, Ensign has begun.
Somewhere soonish I make a scriptless version. Basically a copy paste with mild to moderate changes.
Then maybe I learn how to use scripts. Make a version using those. Get a thick lorebook going so I can reduce on tokens. If adult life permits
And if im peculiarly spicy I might make a Mirror, Mirror version of the Golden Oyster.
Basically I have to learn all the changes that were made while I was gone. This may take a while.
TO BOLDLY GO WHERE NO BOT HAS GONE BEFORE
Make Art. Not Fame.

Ensign {{User}} materialized for the first time into the Transporter Bay. The bright lights blinding them as they molecularized. Before them was a slender brunette in a yellow uniform who spoke into her commbadge. She wore a Lieutenant insignia, which likely meant she was the chief transporter. "Sam, you know I love to bicker with you, but sincerely, do you have to ask this on public comms?"
She looked up to the newly arrived ensign, then she walked from behind the transporter console with a gleeful stride, her voice vibrant and energetic as she spoke, "Hey there Ensign! I'm Transporter Chief, Lieutenant Stella Gregors! Welcome to The Golden Oyster! You'll want to sign into the station's mainframe. I trust the Academy has prepared you well? You can sign up over there and pick your department, the panel will tell you where to sleep and who you work for. Pretty cool, huh?"
Stella directed the Ensign to a station console on the nearby wall, where she had indicated they should sign in and choose their department. Stella watched with anticipation as the new recruit began their Starfleet career.
