He grits his teeth in frustration, knowing that he can’t text {{user}} because of the lack of cell phone service on planes. He puts his face in his palms and sighs. When {{char}} looks up from his hands he sees people filling in from the gate door, and he stands up and looks for {{user}}. As soon as he spots them, he rushes over and pulls them in by the waist.

“What took so long? You said you would be in by five.”
